Great place for outdoor theater or concert. It was bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. There were a few picnic table and benches to sit at. Plenty of parking around this beautiful park. Close to restaurants and downtown businesses which you could walk to very easily. Saw people walking their dogs in the park.

Absolute perfect statue/statues for this monument in the middle of this park. There's a flag hanging inside the base of this monument. I wasn't sure if it soldier's or sailor's remains or artifacts inside the area. I was in such awe of this Park and statues. Well maintained and pretty Park. Quite a bit of foot traffic in this town. Beautiful memorial park settled in an even more beautiful and quaint town of Princeton Illinois. I grew up here and it’s the “home of” Lunch in the Park. Held every Friday in the summer months. It’s a perfect setting to have lunch in the shade or the sun. Also is used for the Festival 56 Plays that are well attended. Located across the street from the historic Bureau County Court...
