Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Prosper

When this place first opened. I was excited and ready to support this business. When I arrived. Management and employees looked at me with a blank stare and no smile or "how are you," like they were doing with everyone else in front of me. They forgot my order, so I waited an extra 10-15 minutes. Said they were making my kolache "fresh," no apology, and was sent on my way. When I got home, they gave me the tiniest donuts out of the batch, and my kolache was half bread. I drove back. All I wanted was some decent donuts after working all night long. When I walked in management looked appalled that I returned. I got my order fixed. Yet, no apology, and they couldn't even comp the extra donut I purchased. Killed them with kindness. Ever since I stood up against racism at Prosper Crossing, the family spread that I was racist, and in a 5-mile radius of that place, I have been receiving bad service at any local shop. I'm tired of it. You could feel the energy shift. I will not support a business that treats...

I love Shipley's and have a long history going to locations across Texas. This morning, around 10:30, I purchased six (6) glazed donuts from the new location on Frontier Parkway in Celina. All six donuts tasted like they were made many hours ago. It was like I was buying grocery store donuts. This obviously was not expected. The store was very busy, so I would expect that the store would be consistently making glazed donuts. In other words, I was very surprised to be getting donuts that tasted like they've been sitting out for hours. I'm not giving up on this location, I'm just sharing this in hopes that this mid-Saturday morning donut customer has a better experience next time.

I love shipleys & was excited about this one opening so close to home. BUT this is the second time I have ordered donuts and the donuts are hard and not good . This is not the shipleys I know and I’ve been to multiple locations the donuts taste worse than krispy kreme . I also bought some sausage egg and cheese kolaches and they were done in the inside.
