Read moreFrontier Park is a great spot for families. The playground is super fun and really well-built — our kids love it, and it’s laid out in a way that makes it easy to keep an eye on them. Saturdays can get packed during sports events, with tons of families hanging out, but the vibe is always friendly and relaxed. People here tend to be good folks.
Only downside: they told my wife she couldn’t have our dog on the sidelines while we watched our son’s soccer game. That was a buzzkill — it’s a park, come on.
On the flip side, the grass here is insane. Like… golf course fairway-level care. It’s honestly kind of amazing.

Read moreWe went on a whim later one day to run some energy out of our two year old before bedtime and we were pleasantly surprised at how cute this playground is. The frontier/covered wagon theme runs throughout and is so adorable! The toddler area has so much to do for the littles and the bigger kid area is vast with an array of fun as well! Love how it’s covered to provide a ton of shade as well. There’s so much room to run and play near the pond too. The bathrooms were in a terrible state but it was also late on a Sunday so what can you expect. Can’t wait to return and check out the splash pad...
