We rarely go to Sonic in Prosper because they are a constant disappointment.
Today I went to the Prosper Sonic against my better judgment. I ordered a large Oreo blast (that was only maybe half way filled.)
A large Diet Coke (which tasted like a watered down drink.)
A small sprite and a small blue ocean water.
I also ordered a corndog and medium mozzarella sticks.
The only thing that wasn't problematic was the small sprite in the small ocean water.
The grand total for all of this was $15.07.
While I was still at sonic I asked the carhop name Nicole about the lack of ice cream in blast and she said she didn't know what it was supposed to look like.
Since I had food, I knew that I was gambling with having cold food by the time I got home (I live less than 2 miles from sonic) so I just left the restaurant.
When I got home my husband noticed the same thing about the Oreo blast. For nearly 7 dollars even expect to get what you pay for. Oh and the One dog and mozzarella sticks were already cold. Gross!
It is a very rare treat for us to go and pick up ice cream, drinks or anything else from sonic anyway, because it has a tendency to be expensive.
I called the restaurant and finally someone picked up. The manager on duty is named Lily.
There was nothing she could do over the phone except make a free one the next time we came in.... which would be months from now. After this experience, it will be never.
I offered to text her the picture I had taken of the large Oreo blast. So she could see. They wouldn't half refund it or anything.
So, he left to head up to Sonic.
Lily got a little upset that my husband walked into the restaurant. But I did warn her that's what was gonna happen when he got there. Their is no way we are going to trust them to remake the food without eyes on them.
Since they wouldn't remake the food with him there he told her to refund the approx $7 for the blast.
So far I haven't seen that come through on my online banking.
But I didn't think my experience at the Prosper Sonic could get worse. Apparently it can and just did. We will not be back. Save your money I spent a little extra time going to one one of the...
Read moreI ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage AND bacon with a medium tater tots. I told the manager that my tater tots were cold and is like them replaced. His response was to take my tater tots and drink and tell me he wasn't going to replace them, instead he was going to give my money back. When I got home and started eating my burrito I noticed there was no sausage. I proceeded to eat my burrito anyways because of the experience I had with my tater tots. Upon completing my burrito I decided that was incorrect and called the location. The female manager that answered the phone listened to my complaint and proceeded to tell me they would remake my burrito. I told her I wasn't hungry anymore and simply wanted my money back as my entire order was incorrect. She told me that was fine and to come get my money back. Upon returning to the location your gm came outside to talk with me and I explained my frustrations as my entire order was incorrect. He told me he would remake my food but as I had already eaten I asked for a free combo card for next time. He then told me I needed to leave the lot because he had already offered my money back BEFORE I realized my entire order was wrong. I was charged for things I didn't receive and not given fresh food when I asked...
Read moreI visited this location and ordered a route 44 lemon berry water. My order was delivered by Jordan who I think could have been new based on the sticker name tag. He handed me my water, said “$2.80”. I handed him “$5.20” thinking he’d realized he said it wrong and get my change back to me. I planned on tipping too. I waited a minute and he returned with a straw. I guess he remembered he forgot that. He never returned with my change. I had to sit there for a bit to take a call. After the call, I asked to use the restroom. An employee said he’d meet me at the back door to unlock it for me. He proceeded to push the door open for me and walked away. To my surprise, another employee was inside the restroom relieving himself. I apologized to him. To the other employee I said someone’s in there. He couldn’t stop laughing. These employees, while just kids need to know how to give change and how to check and alert someone when a bathroom is in use. I’m just thankful he was sitting down and I didn’t see...
