Our family of 10 decided to order out for Thanksgiving, after shopping around we decided to go with Prosper Pantry as the selections for the dishes were exactly what we wanted for our dinner. Janis was wonderful to work with when discussing how much we needed to order to accommodate everyone with still wanting the much needed leftovers. I was so impressed by the packaging, all we had to do was stop our family games, preheat the oven, take off the lids and pop them in the oven to heat up. After dinner all we had to clean up were the dishes we ate on, returned the lids to the containers and popped them in the fridge. Everyone remarked on how nice it was to not spend hours in the kitchen preparing and then cleaning up, we could go right back to our family games. I do have to mention the hands down best winner of the meal was the pecan pie, not too sweet, perfect balance of pecans and filling, reminding us of our favorite baklava. The next up favorite was the cashew stuffing, amazing.

I was so excited to order from Prosper Pantry recently. After seeing all the great reviews, I was really looking forward to getting some great meals and supporting a local business.

I ordered our meals about a week and half in advanced to ensure we were able to get the meals we wanted. They were suppose to be delivered on a Monday. First off, the delivery was late. I called to inquire about the order and then got no answer. I sent an email as well and go no response. I finally received a call around 6:30pm that Monday. I was addressed by the wrong name (They lady I spoke to did not seem to know what was going on and she was kind of rude to be honest). I thought I was getting a call back but was not, I was getting a call that one of the meals we had selected was not available anymore. So we aren't getting all of our meals and the delivery is late. I was extremely disappointed being a first time customer...this did not make a great impression. I was refunded for that specific meal and given a bag of cookies. Which was kind of them to do that.

My expectations are if I order something far enough in advanced I should be receiving that or at the least be notified earlier in the day - not when they are already late delivering my order.

The food we did receive was fine. Nothing special. Needless to say for the amount we paid it was not worth it. I had such high hopes for...

If you need quick meals that taste absolutely delicious and are truly homemade, you’re at the right place! We stopped in Thursday evening and the entire setup is wonderful. The chalkboard at the front tells you what has been made fresh daily and what’s available. There’s one freezer full of meals and then there’s another fridge that has fresh meals in addition to another smaller fridge that has salads and sides. I have no idea why there’s not a line to get in everyday. I will say, it does seem like meals go quick. So for future, I will most likely place an order online. Now my biggest thing is taste. We are HUGE on flavor and let me tell you: prosper pantry does not disappoint! I got the chicken pot pie for my baby and toddler which she is currently devouring as I type this. The chicken enchiladas were made fresh that day, they are so savory and the sauce is full of tang and mild spice. The containers make it easy to reheat/bake. Being a busy and overworked mom, I will be utilizing prosper pantry as long as they’re around. Also thank you to the sweet girl up front who gave my daughter a cookie on the house as it was our first visit. Can’t wait to...
