El Caporal — Restaurant in Prosser

It was nice to be able to get fresh Mexican food in a town with which we weren't familiar. No indoor dining because of the pandemic. Our modest order was on the expensive side and the food wasn't nearly good enough for the cost. I ordered a "macho burrito" that turned out to be more like a very large enchilada. There was no way to pick it up and it was filled with a lot of rice and beans and a bit of meat, was topped with enchilada sauce and a bit of melted cheese... not really a burrito. Sorry, guys. I'd like to give a higher score, but it didn't...

We ate there about a year ago and said that we would never eat there again.... The beans were sour the rice was over cooked and the meat was so tough that we couldn’t eat it! But the service was good and the people very friendly! We thought that we would give them a second chance today and again we had great service, it’s very clean and the people are very friendly! The food wasn’t as bad today , but we will never go back! My husband ordered beef and they served him chicken and my chicken had a horrible taste to it and...

We always enjoy this Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent(usually more than y'all can eat), the staff are courteous and the atmosphere is quite colorful. My personal favorite is chorizo con huevos with Mexican rice, refried beans and corn tortillas. My lovely wife likes a taco salad and salsa. The homemade chips and salsa dip are always a good appetizer(they bring two levels of spicy, so, caution). Y'all won't leave hungry, guaranteed. Pretty sure y'all won't be...
