Had high hopes because my husband wanted a good meal for his birthday and said they had great food. Should have read the reviews before we left the house. Their menu has changed and its real small now and they didnt have what he wanted so we got the nachos. One review said the good chef quit and they hired someone who drank alcohol while working. We would have drove out of town for edible food. I'm not kidding when I say the food was terrible and way overpriced!! $20 for the pulled pork nachos that prob cost $5 worth of food. That's a good racket. The owners should be ashamed. Looked and tasted like someone just threw 3 day leftovers from the fridge and thought it looked gourmet. My husband and I shared the nachos. They were cold and the cheese was a grainy cheese sauce (not melted cheese ) on the side of the cold plate, not on the chips. (Good restaurants broil it and the plate is so hot you cant touch it.) The chips were hard and cold. The pulled pork and not much of it was dry and hard and cold and a few days old and had no flavor and no seasonings. The menu says black beans. There was about 6 kidney beans and about 7 black eyed peas. No black beans at all. (But why would you put whole beans on nachos??? You wouldnt, you'd have refried beans on the side.) Tiny pieces of jalapeños about the size of this square-■ . Sour cream drizzled over the top, supposed to have pico de gallo on it. I found one piece of corn and no tomatoes, no onions or cilantro, very little jalapeño. A whole grilled jalapeño as a garish. Thats the only thing that was hot! The added guacamole was from a container(probably frozen Yucatan guac from the store. It had no spices or cilantro or lime juice and no tomatoes.) it had lots of tiny pieces of jalapeños-■in the middle of the guacamole. I figured since the food was so bad I'd eat the guacamole, got to the middle and it was too hot. They just threw the tiny jalapeño pieces in the middle of it. Best part were our drinks, iced tea and coke. For our refill the waitress forgot who had what drinks and didnt give us anymore ice in our cups. I should have known better when a gentleman across from us left most of his food unfinished as the waitress took it in the back and threw it away and then they left. He looked disappointed and disgusted. We left 75% of the inedible food on the plate. Waitress asked if we wanted a to-go box. My husband politely said no thank you. My husband said they used to have great food. We won't be going back unless they find a new chef that actually knows how to cook and changes the menu to match the price. The price was inflated for what we got. The cheapest ingredients and worst food we have ever had! If I could give them zero stars I would have. $28.80 for some shi**y food. One order of nachos and 2 drinks for $28.80 and a stomach ache, a bout of nasty gas, indigestion. We left a small tip because the food was disgusting and the service wasn't that great and the food was cold. We are very disappointed and my husband was still hungry when we got home. There's nothing worse than a hangry man on his birthday that spent money on awful food!!! Food was comparable to Taco...

Hotel! (and saloon) What a gem! My wife and I stayed during the festival. The place reminds me of McMenamins. One stop resort for grown-ups. Everything done thoughtfully.

Essentials Bed: 5 star mattresses. High quality sheets. Shower: Great! Both shower heads are tall. (At 6ft, I hate playing shower limbo.) Both the fixed and wand, spray & massage. Leg room: Our room included access to a really cool retro-western “parlor” (banquet/event room) that I would be happy to meet clients/friends in. Downstairs has a game room with good quality pool (9ball), sawdust shuffleboard, card table, etc. Location: center of town, local business people meet there. AC: First rate, high efficiency units of the type I usually only see in Japan or Europe w/ remote. Wi-Fi: free & strong (Like most modern places, they count on you having a cell phone). Cost: $150 room+parlor access: Worth it. I consider it an investment in my back and a place I can happily host clients and friends.

Why this place; The parlor is a game changer. It’s a tasteful place to entertain. I can see booking a party (Superbowl, bachelor/ette, etc.) or coming back from group wine tasting to eat & crash here. No driving involved.

The Finer Details Looking Good: The private bathrooms are detached, which is good then my wife could use the dedicated vanity in the room, while I did my routine. Showers are good quality modular, with textured floors and a handlebar. It also has ample horizontal surfaces for those who have more than one hair product. Convenience: right downtown, food & games just downstairs. No need to google or wander. Ambiance: My wife says that “from the velvet wallpaper, to tin tile ceilings, the saloon motif is romantic- sexy even.” XFactor: I like to support local entrepreneurs like Gary, who get an idea and work years to achieve it. Best of all, it’s the best hotel in Prosser. Don’t let any website glitches get your down. Just give Gary a call/email and work it out.

Food: Some of the best in Prosser. Bar: stocked with local micro whiskey, wines and beers so try something new. We had, Writer’s Tears whiskey, The Teacher red wine and the HHH beers are all good. Waitstaff. Professional and bartender knew her stuff. We were here just...

We try to come here once a year when in town. Some times more than once. I was really disappointed on this visit. I will first say that the world has changed and new people are working. With that said. If you have new employees YOU the owner need to ensure that training is being done. Now with that said we were greeted and seated well and chose to sit at the bar. We were able to quickly get a beer and order our food as we were on a timeline. After this is when everything went bad. Total our food, which was one appetizer to share and two salads took over 1 hour. Yes, not joking. During that time we finished out beers and water and sat waiting for someone to acknowledge us but finally we just had to get a server to pay us any attention. It was not busy at all. It appeared as there were two servers and one busser. While we were there the servers were handling maybe 4 tables each so not busy. No one, except the last person we asked knew the guest wifi password. When our order came out 60 minutes later the appetizer was incomplete, missing half of what was described and one of the two salads was incorrect. To that I really wanted to order a house Caesar salad as my wedge Caesar salad couldn't have been any larger and was not priced correctly as it was equal or smaller than the dinner salad that was first incorrectly brought to me. So needless to say this was a complete disappointment and and not an enjoyable visit. While we waited for our food we had finished our beer and water and were both waiting for anyone to notice. When the food came, and was incorrect, we asked about getting a second drink and water and asked about the error in the order and missing part of the appetizer. Did not seem to be any major concern. In fact if we didn't keep on them I don't think we would...

This was our first meal out in Prosser, Washington. Located downtown in a historic building. Before you walk in the door, your greeted by real old west guns on the door. I can't begin to explain the details and visual appearance of this restaurant. Whoever designed and decorated it, put a lot of thought into it. Although it's small, the high ceiling make it feel spacious. Decorative chandeliers give off soft light making it feel like home. A large bar is the main focus along with the hand painted murals of wild horses. We ordered a drink and a beer. Both were good. No beer flights are available. The food menu is selective with something to please everyone. We started with an amazing appetizer of Duck egg rolls and Ahi tuna. It was recommended by our waitress and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Prosser steak sandwich with salad. It was cooked to ordered with a mound of meat. It was flavorful and filling. My friend ordered the pork sandwich which was huge and delicious. Service was great, even with a crowd we didn't feel ignored or rushed and food came in a reasonable amount of time. Prices were about average and you definitely get your monies worth. If your not that hungry just go to check out the building. They also have a game room in the basement. I didn't have a chance to check it out however I like the idea.

I was told that I should go here if I like gizzards, and they were absolutely right! I was greeted almost as soon as I walked in the door, and the staff was very friendly. They asked me if I was ok with having a sciracha mayo dressing on them, and I stated that I would like it on top. After a short wait the gizzards were delivered to my table. They were still hot out of the fryer, and were sitting on a bed of fresh french fries. The gizzards were very tender, while having a nice crisp outside. The sauce was a very good pairing with the gizzards, and the fries were crisp on the outside and molten on the inside just the way I like them. If you like gizzards then I highly recommend you stop in Prosser and give these a try.
