Shaka Cafe — Restaurant in Prosser

I used to really enjoy coming to Shaka especially when it first opened! I am no longer pleased with my trips to this coffee shop. My drinks from espresso to Red Bulls have varied in quality and has not tasted the same when it’s made by a different employee. As a customer of three years I have seen that there’s no consistency or direction on how to make most drinks. On several separate occasions I have sat in drive-thru and waited nearly 5-10 minutes with the window open and nobody inside the store, and there’s no sign communicating with what’s happening. The most recent occurrence is 9/12 at 12:32pm-12:42pm. I watched a car before me drive away without receiving a drink or seeing an employee help them after waiting behind them for a few minutes. It has become an expectation to receive a bad drink or no service.

Although two high school girls are a shining star at this place, I believe, “V” (I’m sorry if I’m wrong) and someone, I haven’t gotten her name, with the cutest curly hair, who’s is V’s best friend, have always been nice, and very good at their jobs here! They have made me delicious...

Was here on August 16th an hour before closing we went specifically for the shaved ice, and we were told that the shaved ice machine had been cleaned already so we settled for ice cream only to be given ice cream out of a great value tub from Walmart that had probably been sitting in the freezer for months. The ice cream had frozen ice particles on it and it had clumps of sugar stuck together and we were still served it. Sounds like they were out of everything an hour before closing so I’m not sure why they were still open. Would not recommend ever. Take your self somewhere else. Coffee is also not very good. Today I went in with my nieces and ordered a couple drinks, not only was my drink disappointing but the service was even more disappointing. I asked for a Redbull drink with whipped cream and once I got it i noticed it was missing the whipped cream. Politely I asked if I could please get some added and got the look of annoyance. Miss communication could've happened, it happens. But, annoyance with a customer for politely asking for the mistake fixed.. major bummer. Also, the ladies today had very unpleasant attitudes the entire time. Prosser has very small options for finding specialized drink stands and to have one of the locally owned drink establishments have disappointing customer service is very much again,...
