My family and I were pleasantly surprised chancing upon this wonderful restaurant tonight.
When we first pulled up near it, I was worried that it was going to disappoint because I did not see a lot of other Khmer or Asian people through the windows from the street. Usually signs of lack of authenticity. We saw the good reviews online, but weren't sure which customer base was reviewing the place.
Anyway, we got inside and saw how packed the place was. Again, good signs. Not just full of people, but it was pretty tight quarters. Not so fun, but minor inconvenience. We only waited about 10 minutes for a table to free up.
The menu didn't disappoint. I liked the first page explaining Khmer culture and explaining how it wasn't Chinese food, which a lot of Khmer places turn into because they think that Khmer authentic food wouldn't be appealing. There were Chinese-food-like menu items, but I saw a lot of authentic Khmer dishes listed, too.
My two younger kids ordered their usual favorite, Mee-ka-thahng. I ordered Lort Cha. Hubby ordered Red Curry stir fry, and my oldest ordered their Apsara Happy Family. We were hungry and was gonna order an app, but glad we didn't. The food came out about 15 mins after we ordered and the portions were huge. I've been to many Khmer restaurants, but this was a first seeing so much food on one plate for each dish.
Everything was delicious and satisfyingly genuine. Except for the Mee-ka-thahng. It looked like the actual dish, but its flavor was so different from what we are used to. I can't even describe it.
Despite that, I would still give this place a 5 star. Great...
Read moreThis restaurant is a gem!!!! The vast menu includes Cambodian, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine and has something for everyone. My boyfriend and I wanted to share a few things, so we tried the Nime Chow, which is a cold wrap with rice noodles, green leaf lettuce, and cold shrimp in a clear noodle wrap, served with cold peanut sauce. If you like cold food its delicious. The beef teriyaki was served with some pickled vegetables as a garnish. Delicious. The teriyaki itself was also incredible. We had the Thai Pad See Ew something-or-other (can't remember the full name of the dish), which was wide noodles with a pleasant sauce, with 2 different kinds of broccoli, carrots and onions. We chose shrimp for ours and it was simply delicious. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, they were cooked but still crunchy. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. The crab rangoon is hands down the best I have ever tasted. This little place was hopping busy with many people picking up takeout. The restaurant was about 2/3 full on a Sunday evening and we were seated immediately. The staff took great care of us, with one person taking our order, and then other people checking on us to be sure we had given our order to someone. The staff seem to take a group approach to make sure everyone is taken care of expediently and your food is served quickly. Great decor, great food, great service, and the prices are very inexpensive, especially considering the quality of the food! We will be going back many times to...

To management, you need to remediate several issues that the restaurant is currently dealing with that is affecting the overall customer and employee experience.
Invest in technology Room for Expension
•Invest in technology. PROBLEM: People who order through the phone make their way to the restaurant to have to wait their turn to pay this making their experience not so great
RESOLUTION: Provide the ability for customers to pay Via web; It’s 2019. This will aliviate the woman in the front who works so hard and diligently.
Room to Expand: PROBLEM: Folks that make their way to the restaurant wait on average of about 30 to 40 minutes to be seated. This greatly reduces customer satisfaction and has a direct negative impact.
Solution: Invest on providing the ability to have more room for customers by tearing walls and expand. This will alliviate wait time which we all know, we want things fast and easy.
The above will alliviate how hard your employees work thus improving employee turnover. As well as providing great customer service and attracting morecustomers.
