AMAZING brewery in Providence definitely one of our top favorites in RI! The brewery is small but the artwork is nice! There is an outdoor area too! Samples are $2 and they are generous! They also offer pours and growler fills. Service is always nice! We love their IPAs, gose and sours! They are all ALWAYS delicious!! They serve your traditional hazy, beautiful colored New England IPAs which are fruity, smooth and flavorful! They also stay open later than some other breweries which is great! They usually have 4 to 5 different kinds of beer available but also tend to sell out of favorites at times. They do also have carbonated water available. This brewery is located next to a restaurant and yoga studio. If you love checking out breweries and especially love NE IPAs you have to check this place out - you won't regret it! Also, check out their social media whether it is Facebook or Instagram to know wha beer is available and what is coming next! Armando, the owner does an...
Read moreThis is a tiny little place putting out some quality beer. Everything is solid but few things I've tried have been extraordinary, with the exception of Easy Times, a farmhouse with lacotse, vanilla and pineapple that I was fortunate enough to sample before the keg tapped. There is very little space inside, maybe enough for 20 people tops, and there is room for a little more than that outside, but it gets uncomfortably packed quickly due to the limited space. Dogs and kids are allowed, but I feel that they take up a lot of space in an already too congested environment. I've seen them have as little as three beers on tap, but four to six seems standard, though the variety is probably highest early in the week. I would rate a 3.5 if possible, but I will round up because it's currently size that seems to be holding them back from achieving greatness, not a lack of talent in brewing or...
Read moreLLBW is a gem. Went on a Sunday afternoon. Beautiful space in an old mill building. Tastefully appointed space, limited parking. Staff was informative and friendly. Many styles and they are very very cleanly fermented. These days, there are many local breweries to choose from, and I can say that the atmosphere and quality of their beers make this place easily stand out. Their IPAs are silky smooth, flavorful, and fragrant. The DIPA I ordered stands out to be among the best I have had. No need to wait 2 hrs at Treehouse, just come here and get an IPA that is every bit as good.
I was most impressed with their imperial stout, All This and More, brewed with rasberries and cacau nibs. It is a 13% beer that is nicely dried out, not heavy or cloying, and zero alcohol heat. Clearly this brewer is attentive and talented to pull this beer off. Highly...
