Ds spot Broad street — Restaurant in Providence

I’m going to give D’s a 3. I wasn’t able to get their food because I walked in the door at 1140p and was told the establishment was closed. I purposely chose this establishment because of the name and food items sold. I was visiting from Nashville and had just driven an hour to this place after the CU/URI game. In other words, I passed several restaurants before arriving to this one to only be turned around. It’s listed in Google, their website, and DoorDash that it’s open until midnight. When I arrived, the lights were on, the open sign was flashing. There was even an additional sign with lights that read “Open late until midnight “. Nope! Not true! I explained to the person that worked there that I had driven a long way and I purposely chose this restaurant to which she responded, “I’m sorry”. Very bad business and unfortunate. everything taste of old unchanged oil, the chicken sandwich was just plain dry and uneatable, there was a distinct lack of flavor in every item that i ordered, Like when you are the last person to grab a piece of chicken from a school cafeteria that has been sitting for 6 hours. that level of dry and bland taste, the nuggets suffered the same fate of having absolutely no taste or texture, just dry. I cannot begin to imagine how long this food must have sat before making it's way to my plate.

Edit: in response to the owner I gave a one star for atmosphere and location because of delivery and the appalling lack of quality in the food. I rightly cannot judge anything besides what was delivered to me.. well I'm sure you would have remade the order food should never be sent out in the condition...
