Julianna's — Restaurant in Providence

Service was horrible, I asked for a shake the waitress told my they didn't have any, I asked for a natural juice, she said they didn't have any, my son asked for a diet Coke, she said they didn't have any, this was on a Saturday night. A couple sat next to us about 10 minutes later and I overheard a different waitress telling them all the different natural juices the had, I called her over and told her what had happened, she apologized and told me they did have different natural juices.

I didn't want to make a big deal so we order our food, the other 2 people that were with me claimed their for was good, for me, I have to say mine was horrible, the chicken was super over cooked and dry and the rice had no flavor, I didn't even eat it.

The waitress kept disappearing and we had to keep asking the other waitress for service, at one point my son had to walk up to the counter to get something and at the end my boyfriend had to go to the counter to pay because the waitress never came back.

The place can use a huge makeover and huge professional service, would never go back or recommend...

Very authentic and very delicious. The service is always excellent and the prices are great. I’ve paid three times as much for less than half the amount of food at other restaurants. The owners are very friendly and welcoming . He’s the chef and she runs the dining area. This is a Bolivian/Peruvian restaurant that represents both countries very well with its food and drink selection. I recommend their “moconchinche” (I have no idea if I spelled that right). It’s a very refreshing drink made from dried peaches…think of it as a sweet iced peach tea. You also must try the salteñas. They’re basically Bolivian meat pies and they are super juicy and delicious. Julianna’s gets a clean five stars from me straight across the board…and my whole family agrees to that.

Awesome restaurant!!! Local gem!!! My wife and I have been looking for a new Peruvian restaurant since we moved to Rhode Island and we finally found a new staple! We ordered Ceviche and Jalea. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious!!! All the seafood tasted like they were just caught, cooked and arrived right to our table. This is probably the best Peruvian food we ever had. Highly recommend anyone to stop in for a good meal. 😁

Updated Review 10/02/2023: We ordered delivery from here often! Today we didn't receive the correct item that we ordered but they were able to fix it right away even though it was past their business hours. They even included a free baked item for us to try. I really appreciate the great food and service from here!! This remains to be our favorite restaurant...
