I don’t think I’ve ever left a negative review, but this place certainly deserves one. I’m not sure if the employees are incompetent, management is terrible, or both. First of all, ordering took like twenty minutes. There wasn’t even anyone in line. Employees just ignore customers for ten minutes at a time. Having worked fast food, I understand that things get busy. I’ve never seen such egregious behavior from employees though. When I finally ordered, the food took more than half an hour. Since when is that fast food? At that point, why wouldn’t I just sit down at a restaurant and kick my feet up? Mind you, the restaurant was almost empty. It was like 9 pm. I finally got my food, and the damn biscuit was missing. Are you kidding? No biscuit?????? It had been like forty minutes at this point. So I went back, hoping to just get a biscuit quickly and get back to eating. Did that happen? Spoiler: no. I waited for like ten more minutes, and the people behind me started leaving. The other customers and I even started bonding over how atrocious the customer service here was . Finally, I had enough and just called into the kitchen and finally got my biscuit. It took over an hour for my full order. Who wants to wait that damn long for food? Management needs to schedule more people, or actually train employees. Aside from service, the food was fine. The restaurant is a normal fast food restaurant. The booth thing we sat on was pretty wobbly. I didn’t realize I picked the rocking chair option, but I guess that’s fine. The food certainly wasn’t worth an hour of waiting, that’s for sure. This was an embarrassing experience for the restaurant, and the way customers were treated is reprehensible. Go to Canes...
Read moreThey could've done better, way better ... Forget the fact that the parking lot has a huge pot hole over a sewer drain. Which FYI we reversed over it and slashed Our tire. Our luck right? 😑 Upon waking in there, same aura/vibe. I had asked for the bathroom to my surprise there wasn't a lobby person there. After waiting 4 people I was taken by the manager who was nice and directed me to a bathroom key after my order. My partner went first to the bathroom only to jokingly tell me to go in and wash my hands, I went in and immediately noticed there was a butchers knife on the sink with seasoning and fluid on it still. Which was also over the knobs on the sink which tells me the seasoner didn't follow the hand washing procedure nor did he realize how many cross contamination laws were broken from an item from the back of the kitchen to the restroom out front. I'm 100 percent sure every knob in the restaurant had seasoning n chicken fluid over it and with the severity of covid-19 going at an all time high, I can easily see many faults being brought up here, the manager should reenforce these cleaning protocols if she expects her bosses and a cheesing inspector happy. Take it from someone who worked at a Popeyes before, this is far from what we should be producing as a short service...
