Extremely Disappointing I recently visited the Baskin-Robbins in Pueblo on Prairie and was appalled by the subpar service. From the outset, the ordering process was painfully slow. The employee seemed eager to rush us through, repeatedly asking "Is there anything else?" in a manner that felt dismissive.
Upon ordering two cups with two scoops and one cup with a single scoop, we encountered a unfriendly cashier at the window. With no greeting or smile, she mechanically confirmed our order, leaving us worried about its accuracy.
Our concerns were justified; the order arrived with incorrect and meager portions – barely half a scoop! The single-scoop cup contained only two bites.
To make matters worse, the lobby was inexplicably closed at 8 PM, despite advertised hours until 10 PM. We were forced to wait in the drive-thru line.
When we reported the error, the employee appeared annoyed and aggressively opened the window. After re-submitting our order, we received it again – still incorrect! They reused the same cup, removing most of the ice cream and replacing it with a small scoop of cookie dough. This lack of attention to detail raises serious concerns about food safety.
As a hospitality professional and trainer, I'm shocked by this experience. The similarities to other reviews suggest systemic issues. Owners, take note: invest in staff training and customer service skills.

Read moreWe've been here a dozen times before, and tonight was truly disappointing. The drive thru was backed up and I believe we were forgotten about. Once our order was taken, it was very obvious the two young ladies working inside were not trained properly. They looked disheveled and frantic. We ordered a single scoop of ice cream and a small vanilla shake, nothing complicated. We also had a gift card. At the window, my husband gave the girl the gift card, and she seemed confused and had to call the other girl(who was cover in stains, btw) over to help her. She closed the window so we couldn't hear what was going on. Then, she opens it and tells my husband" you might want to go check the balance, it keeps telling me 'error". So he pays her with another card. Meanwhile, I'm checking the balance. The website says there's $25 on the card. He tells her the register might have an issue because the card has $25 on it. She looks at him blankly and says, " oh sorry about that, it might". Clearly she has no idea what she was doing. And to top it off, the shake my husband received was watery and had little to no ice cream in it. I tasted it and it was nothing but milk. We had to pay for bad service and a bad shake even though we had a gift card. They were clearly understaffed(interesting, because I watched two other employees come out of the store while the two inside were running around overwhelmed), and not trained well. Someone needs to step up and fix this, this is a very poplar location...
Read moreMy friend and I went to celebrate my graduating from RN school and I had chosen BR because I'm not a drinker and don't eat much ice cream, so it seemed a real special treat. First of all, this is the best BR location I've ever seen for size and cleanliness (I've never been in one that wasn't cramped until this one). Plus it had a drive-thru. The young gal who waited on us was off to college soon herself (we were chatting) and she was just the sweetest, thoughtful and helpful person. When I told her that I had especially chosen BR and driven across town to try the new vegan flavors, she was so sad to tell me that this location did not have any yet (didn't mean they wouldn't eventually, she said). So she was very kind to give a discount on the ice cream because of our drive just to get vegan ice cream (not sherbert), in hopes we'd come back and try the vegan ice cream when it did come out! I was very pleased and although I rarely eat dairy, I totally enjoyed the coconut-flavored ice cream. I will definitely be back to BR for all my special...
