This restaurant is located in the student center of Pueblo Community College. The entrance is on the north side of the building and is poorly marked. There appears to be ample parking, but school was not in session, so it's hard to tell. The parking is a little bit away from the entrance but there is handicap parking in a lot immediately to the east of the student center. Upon arriving, we were almost immediately seated. It was Saturday night on a holiday weekend, and business seemed a little slow. They have a nice cocktail menu and a limited wine selection. We had their bread special with honey truffle butter, delicious. As an appetizer, we ordered the baked brie salad it was good and easily shared by three. For entrees, we had two of the small filets with baked potato. One had the ribeye steak with lobster. The lobster was on special this night. The food was very flavorful and the portions were generous. However, of the three steaks, only one was cooked as ordered. The ribeye was ordered rare and came out medium well. This is a small restaurant and some of the tables were a little close. This didn't seem to be the case through the entire room. All the tables are the same size and set for a four top. The three of just about used up all of the space on our table. Unfortunately because this is on campus there are no stunning views even though there huge arched windows.
The restaurant is a nice addition to the Pueblo scene. I will be back. BTW, $300,...
Read moreTucked into a quiet corner of the Pueblo community college campus, this restaurant is a true hidden gem. The space is delightfully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a great evening. Our party of two began with cocktails and appetizers — the old-fashioned was expertly crafted and full of flavor. I believe the use Makers Mark. But the real standout was the shrimp tempura. Hands down, it's the best I've ever had — light, crispy batter with perfectly tender shrimp inside. Absolute perfection.
For our main course, we shared the Chop Experience featuring a generous 24-ounce Wagyu steak, cooked to a flawless medium rare. It was rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The meal included two sides; I opted for the scalloped potatoes and a vegetable. The potatoes were especially impressive — golden and slightly crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy on the inside. To finish, we split the strawberry cheesecake, which was the perfect sweet ending to an outstanding meal. Portions were very generous — enough that we both had leftovers to enjoy the next day. This was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Exceptional food, great drinks, and a cozy atmosphere....
Read moreWe had heard good things about this restaurant, but we were very disappointed! We made a reservation that was supposed to be an hour and a half long reservation… Good thing they didn’t hold us to that because it took us two hours to get our food, and we weren’t the only ones who had to wait forever… It was that way for everybody in the restaurant! The steak was nothing to write home about. The au gratin potatoes had an extra sauce on top that Seemed out of place! We sat with empty drinks for half the time we were there. It seemed as if our server had tables spread out all over the restaurant, making it difficult for him to keep up with his tables, and, to be honest, I’m very glad we didn’t order the chop experience! They came out with flashing lights and volcanoes and beatbox. Sounds to deliver it to the table… It definitely did not go with the vibe that It seems like the restaurant is trying to have. A manager came over and apologized for how long it was taking because we had to get going to catch a movie she offered to comp our drinks, but didn’t. We weren’t there to get free food or drinks, but if you’re gonna offer you,...
