First time visit and we will definitely be regulars! The food we chose was good. We had nachos for an appetizer. The nachos were fully loaded and they give you a choice of meat add on toppings. We had Carne Asada which was delicately shredded on top of home made chips, smothered in a queso cheese and other delicious toppings. I swallowed mine down with a Pacifico and lime. It complimented the entree perfectly, which was 3 variety of tacos. You can mix and match the tacos as they are all Ala-cart. The server recommended Fuego Tacos, which I really liked as well as my husband. I also tried a couple other types I forgot the names but they were all good. My husband liked his too and when our server advised us about the amazing salsa bar located in front entry way... we were hooked. Salsa bar is a variety of home made blends from a guacamole verse, pico version, blended chili salsas ... many varieties. The salsa was fresh, great quality and addictive. My husband tried two different Margaritas on rocks and liked both. The atmosphere.. you walk in and there's a family friendly side and a bar side. The bar side gave a vacation vibe with the Caribbean- salsa music, faux brick decor and relaxing atmosphere. We really liked the bar side. They also offer a porch for outdoor eating if you wish. The service was by far best we have had in Pueblo in a long time. We are foodies and the young gentleman made us feel welcomed and was on top of service. Staff was friendly and overall I would recommend visiting. The location is perfectly located close to I-25 freeway and prime...
Read moreVery expensive. Street tacos on the small corn tortillas start at $4 each. The birria tacos were $5 each. Chelada's are $9 each if you want the straw with chamoy, glass rimmed with salt, and 1 green olive. Waitrees with colored hair was not very knowledgable at all. When we got there paper menus on table, we attempted to order 3 different items from the menu, waitress told us 3 times the item was either not offered or they were out. Finally i asked what do they offer, then she said the menus were old. Even though this place had barely been open for business. $8 for 2 tiny tacos is VERY expensive? For $1 less a person can go yo tacos Navarro down the block and get 5 street tacos with a drink. If your prices don't go down, i give it less then 1 year and this place will no linger exist. We originally went just to try the birria and told our waitress this, she told us they were out of it. So we ordered other items. Then when we were done eating she said the birria had just finished cooking. As to why she didn't tell us this before ordering, is beyond us. If we would have known, we would have waited until it was ready. But she made it sound like it was done...
Read moreFuego is NOT on fire! I ordered the protein salad with Carnitas, and a “Porky” taco (taco de chicharrón). The salad was ok but, I could not get past the fact that they served my salad in a dog bowl… Yes! A DOG BOWL! WT…! My friend ordered chili fry’s (name of dish?) she enjoyed her fry’s, however was sick from their food, later that day and the following day (she went home sick from work). We both also ordered a “Porky” taco each and to our surprise it was a flour over cooked oval tortilla they call “crispy” (this is known as a chanclas) smothered in runny refried bean and melted cheese with some tomato sauce like salsa and… NO JOKE there were 4 small pieces of chicharrón (each pieces of meat served was the size of a child’s pinky tip). I did bring it up to the waiter and he was nice and offered more meat, but I declined. I was done and disappointed by their quality, quantity and price. Another thing that was a bit odd was the person delivering the food to the tables kept getting orders wrong. It literally became our entertainment. All-in-all: I wouldn’t go back and I do not recommend this place, the food is not good and it is...
