This was my second time dining in this old timey, nostalgic filled, small town diner. I was so thrilled I could share the experience of this restaurant with my entire family. We all came in on 1/09/24 and had a great time together. Kelly was the only waitress working that day due to being down a server, but she handled a full house as if it was nothing. The owner is a nice guy and his wife is a fantastic cook who handles the grill like a natural born professional. I personally witnessed the owner get up from a four seater table, so that some gentleman could sit down and order and enjoy their meal. I swear the customer service here is truly exceptional and the food itself never disappoints. The prices here cannot be beat with all the food that comes with your breakfast choices. My youngest son kept raving about how his blueberry pancakes were the size of his head. That is not an exaggeration either! The coffee is always hot, fresh, and forever flowing. My fiancĂ© ordered the âBig Breakfastâ and it was quite BIG indeed. My two teenage sons ordered the burgers that I attached pictures of below to this review. For an extra $3.99 you cannot go wrong with upgrading it to the deluxe, which comes with french fries and a fountain drink. There is a lot of old school pictures, dedications to veterans, and Coca-Cola memorabilia that decorates the walls and shelves all around on the interior. It is definitely a blast into the past and a real treat to see what it was like back in the day when this restaurant first came about. There is two entrances and exits to this place. One is out front and the other is on the backside of the building. The bathroom is unisex and is clean and well maintained. Granted the original owners have passed on, you can enjoy the delicious comfort foods, hospitality, and family like atmosphere that diner...
Read moreWell it has been a year since I put a review up for this awesome establishment. Aunt Betty's restaurant is very down-to-earth and very welcoming with amazing staff and service. This is one of my other establishments that I have also been going to for a long time as well here in Pinckney Michigan. The food is absolutely to die for. My favorite thing is the Reuben on sourdough bread absolutely to die for, but with that being said I have had almost 90% of the things on the menu plus some extra things to try that were made and was absolutely amazing and will hopefully be someday be on the menu. Your portions are very gracious and for the price they both meshed together very well. You will always walk out full belly or with leftovers. The food is very flavorful all freshly cooked to order. And anything and everything is always customizable to order. The staff is absolutely amazing. So on a final thought, so with everything that has been said I definitely recommend that you stop in and try the Reuben sandwich, and anything what's on the menu that you would like. They serve breakfast and lunch. And as always a Huge Thank You to the owner and staff....
Read moreI wish I could give zero stars actually! Service was horrible. Server continuously walked around doing things and never even looked at us when we were looking for assistance with our order being wrong. She even looked directly over my head when I was looking at her. I ordered a house salad, which should have had lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, cheese, and croutons. I got lettuce, green peppers, cheese, and croutons. When she FINALLY came over and I was able to ask about getting it fixed I was told they there was no tomatoes or cucumbers but she could go throw some onions on it. I said I didnât want it and gave money to my husband for his food and left. The other worker there, a little later I guess told my husband that they did have them, she just had to get them and restock them. But even so, you need to tell someone if the food is going to be different than what the menu says. That was unacceptable! I have lived very close by for 20 years and that was my first time in there. Now I know why! It will also...
