If you’re from Quincy Illinois, don’t dine at the Hardee’s on 29th and Broadway. Just witnessed a cashier yell at an older gentleman for complaining about his biscuits. Her name is Sarah, and she has a Mohawk. She yelled at him “I never want to see you in here again.” Then proceeded to walk back to the front counter, mind you we are at the opposite end of the restaurant. While at the front counter we could here her very clearly swearing about him and telling her manager that she never wants him in there again. The older gentleman, was near tears. We lost out appetites, and were refunded for our meal. When the cashier (same girl) asked why we wanted to be refunded, she talked s@$t about the man, and then threw our money at us. We confronted the manager and he refused to do anything, he said “I’m not going to discipline her because the old guy does this a lot.” Mind you, this is a place older folk frequent on a daily basis and most of their clientele are older people. This is a corporation that is supposed to hold themselves to a higher standard, the customer is always right. You don’t treat old men and women this way. To make matters worse he was a veteran! He was wearing a navy hat with a Vietnam service metal pinned to it! How dare you Sarah!...

Read moreThe food was prepared well and the atmosphere was very customer friendly. I personally enjoyed the sitting areas because they have a lot of sitting options from large tables for big family's or small cozy chairs for a young couple. I ordered coffee there however and It wasnt very good in terms of quality. Also, if you go here early in the morning and you're under 60 then you're going to be the minority because the elderly love this place first thing in...
