McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Quincy

Arrived at 230pm put order in at 244pm received food at 316pm. Sandwiches were to be hot served when we got them they were cold and bread was tough, asked them to re prepared and they were brought back in about 4 minutes which means they nuked them which caused the bread to be even dryer and tougher. The Server had an attitude of not caring was quip and shrugged his shoulders. He was stocky with a beard and no name tag. The center of the sandwich was very cold and the outside was luke warm. It was very salty and tasted like store bought bologna. It also came with potato salad that could have been bought at the local grocer that would have been better. The sweetened ice "tea" was weak and mostly sugar water. This meal cost 25.77. I went in to talk with the manager and when he was approached by the female server letting him know he was needed he walked toward the kitchen and never came back out. There were several people complaining and no one was listening to them. When I told the male server we would not be back he turned his back on us and walked away not offering to assist us or make us happy. This was in Quincy Il. I will not be back nor my family. We could have gotten a descent meal at the Village Inn or another local establishment for the...

D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! 😋 My husband and I tried The McAlister Club on opening day.. so good. The only thing I'd change would be the bread to a French roll or Cibata bread. It came on cheapy white bread which fell apart as you ate it..the meat was yummy The Giant spud we seen on opening day was spectacular however, when we went back to try it the following week it was TERRIBLE! .. We we're not impressed at all.. let's just say it wasn't Giant at all.. hardly any toppings & Wayyyy Wayyyy Overpriced for what was delivered to our table 😕 ten thumbs down for this one. Today we tried the Turkey Jalapeño Crunch .. Excellent! This Sammy came on a Jalapeño (round roll) with avocado, cheese, bacon & their famous spud chips. I would definitely order this again. The price is decent as not to break the bank.. it came w/a side of your choice Ten Thumbs Up on this one.... Oh & the tea is Freshly brewed & as many re-fills as you want..NOTE: remember to take the survey on your receipt to get $2 off...

First time at McAlister’s! As soon as I walked into the door I was greeted with a friendly welcome! As I’m standing there trying to decide what to get as this is my first time ever eating here. A young girl came to the counter and help me from start to finish. (She wasn’t even taking my order, another girl was who didn’t speak at all. Acted like she didn’t want to be there.) this young lady got me samples of soups and salad dressings so I knew what I was getting. She helped me from start to finish. As I was standing there waiting on my food I noticed she was helping everyone, while all the other employees just stood there. She was refilling drinks, bussing tables, and just talking with guess. She then bagged my food up and made sure to tell me there was napkins silverware salt and pepper in the bag. Didn’t get the girls name but she had long dark brown hair. Whoever she is I would hire her at my business! I will be coming...
