Old Railroad Cafe — Restaurant in Quincy

I love eating at the Old Railroad Cafe. They have very yummy eats as well as give you HUGE portions. I am by no means a skinny girl and I can only eat 1/2 their salads or their subs. If I plan to get take out,I know my husband and I can share it and he's not that small at 6ft either. Anyway, love the food, the Chicken Parm Dinner with Ziti can feed two, the large subs as well and I love eating their salads. They are amazing. However my favorite is the Kabob wrap, with a lavash! Yummmie!

They also are fairly priced. I wouldn't reccomend dining-in there, its a bit old school pizza shop like and there are often loud kids in there too. Over-all awesome place, I swear they feed all of West Quincy with how good their food is!

We ordered takeout from here by phone. It was my first time here and there was a long line, and I was unsure about if I should wait in line for an order already placed ahead of time. The atmosphere was chaotic and there was a woman yelling at her co-workers about many orders. I went up to the counter and asked if I waited in line for orders already called in. She snapped at me that there wasn't an Express line just for me. It was an honest question, I didn't know their system. I left and my co-worker went back 5 minutes later to pickup the food. He too was treated poorly by the staff. Our order was subpar at best. Steak and cheese sub without cheese. Soggy fries all clumped up and stuck together. No thanks to the attitude...

Horrible service! I ordered food and got it delivered. My steak tips had hair in them and the French fries were hard and over cooked. When I called to ask about why the food was sent in that fashion and the owner said “oh well what do you want me to do about it”? So I drive up there with the food and ask if I can have my money back and the owner proceeded to say “no, and there is nothing we can do for you”! I then call the police to find out there is nothing they can do and that I would have to take it up in court as a civil matter. This was the worst experience I ever had with a restaurant.
