Love giving new life to old, well-made things! This chair belonged to my grandmother and Michael and his team expertly modernized and refreshed it while preserving the beauty of its intricate details. It’s the second time I’ve worked with him (see below) and I highly recommend!

My sleeper couch fit my space perfectly and while the fabric had faded and sagged….the structure and mattress were still in excellent condition so I hated parting with it although it had become unsightly. I considered buying a new piece but was astonished at the prices when looking at comparable pieces (original is from Circle Furniture). I reached out to Michael to explore the reupholstery route. He was super informative and patient while I weighed all the pros and cons. He was never once pushy. While reupholstering is not cheap, I found it was more affordable than buying new AND meant one less item in the dump. I chose leather, which I assumed would be a challenge. If it was, the end product didn’t show it! The couch looks brand new and better than any of the pieces I viewed in showrooms. Michael picked up and delivered the couch, which was greatly appreciated.

Michael did an excellent job recovering my ottoman. The only reason I would give him 4 stars is because the ottoman was only 2x3 feet. He said it would only take 2-2 1/2 yards of fabric. I ordered 4 yards to make pillows and thought I could leave it on the roll just in case he needed a little extra. When I picked the ottoman up, he handed me 2 small scraps of fabric and said oh we needed to line up the stripes. I’m not buying it. He has a whole upstairs of “leftover” fabric that he showed me when I first went to look at fabrics that he suggested to purchase when I first inquired. I just think it’s dishonest, it was an extra $50 for that fabric so I’m disappointed with that. All in all, he does do a...
