Great views abound! This place is a hikers paradise and definitely a place for the adventurous. My group could spend our entire day here if it wasn't for the packed itinerary we already had. A great place especially for those who wish to see an elevated view of the great city of Boston or for those who are looking for a great picture for Instagram.
Also there is even spikes at the tops of the mountains to allow for easy rock climbing. I would love to go back and take in the views again and find how to get to other parts.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When we arrived we only saw the entrance that had two cinderblocks with graffiti and we went that way where we did trudge through some mud and tall grass. When visiting I would better recommend going through the forest bike path with the rod "blocking" it. We didn't even realize that was also an entrance until we decided to take a different way back! It's kind of a blink or you'll miss...
Read moreLooks like a pretty cool place but have to admit I only know it through the work of YouTube professor and Dunning-Kruger poster child, Enslaved by no Media, aka Uber Cletus, Piehole from Walpole, or maybe Dave Misspell-king. Among other things he believes Earth is small, flat, and tilted 2.35⁰ down to the north, planes fly low and slow with no fuel, and the cameras he constantly uses to prove his points are all part of a giant conspiracy to deceive regarding the previous items. He is probably harmless but, if you see a man with a Nikon camera on a tripod possibly mumbling to himself, your best course of action would probably be not to make eye contact and walk slowly in another direction. But, if you want a good belly laugh, by all means, check out his YT channel. SNL writers could not outdo...

My older kids and the accompanying adults had fun exploring the reservation but it was a bit dangerous for our toddler hence the old quarry/popular rock climbing spot (steep walls). Unobstructed Boston skyline view from tallest points of the quarry were delightful. Free parking is available. Easy access by car and transit.
When we went there last spring, it was bit dirty; littered spray cans, broken glasses were spotted. Also there were some guys practicing archery with a target so we were walking around them with...
