BUCKLE UP BUCKO
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with what can only be described as the worst customer service I've ever encountered at Home Depot. From the moment I walked through the doors, it was clear that the staff were more interested in avoiding customers than assisting them.
I approached an employee who seemed to be busy chatting with a coworker, and when I finally managed to get their attention, they acted as though I was a burden. Instead of providing helpful information, they gave vague, unhelpful answers and seemed completely disinterested in my questions.
But the real nightmare began at the checkout counter. The cashier was not only slow but also incredibly rude. They rolled their eyes when I asked a question about my purchase, slammed my items around as they scanned them, and seemed to take pleasure in making the entire transaction as unpleasant as possible.
To make matters worse, when I asked to speak to a manager to address these issues, I was met with indifference. It was as if they were accustomed to complaints and had no intention of addressing them. I almost lost my nerve. It was literally everywhere I turned.... how is this store still Standing!
Home Depot used to be a go-to store for me, but after this horrendous!!! experience, I will think twice before ever setting foot in one of their stores again. It's clear that customer service is not a priority for them, and it's a shame that they've let their standards sink so low. Avoid this place if you value your time,...
   Read moreThis place is fine but I'm really writing this review to tell you that one of your employees is stealing/has stolen from this Home Depot. This happened maybe a year ago and am now just realizing what he has done because I always thought it was weird. I'm not sure if he is still working there but I gave him cash to pay for an item and he said "I'll give you a discount, but if you accept the discount, you won't get a receipt." I said sure because I knew I was not going to return it. He took the money and I saw him put the cash underneath the register instead of inside of it. Always thought that was weird, and thought it was weirder that I couldn't get a receipt. But anyways, now that I am using the item I bought again, I realized what he was doing. He had kept the cash for himself. He could not give me a receipt because then it would show on his register that they were down however much I paid him, and it would also mess up the inventory. On top of that, he was also pretty rude. Hopefully he is gone and is no longer stealing...
   Read moreMy recent experience. Unbelievable! I needed some wire but of course itâs locked up. Couldnât find anyone to help so I called the store to get an associate to the aisle to unlock the cage that the wire was in. Well I got disconnected (hung up) while the phone was ringing for customer service. Finally I saw an associate from a different department and they said they would get someone to help. I heard the announcement for assistance but no one showed up as I waited over 20 minutes sitting on a HD bucket, surfing the internet. I finally grew tired and frustrated waiting, so I left my cart of items, and left. Iâll order at home for pickup because in store assistance is non existent. How can products be locked up and thereâs no one there to unlock the cages? Whatâs funny is, Iâm always being approached and asked if I need assistance when I donât, but whenever I need assistance the place becomes a ghost town (not first time). Now Iâll have a delay in completing my project thanks to HDâs poor...
