As a family of eight and a BIG COOK myself with six perpetually hungry kids, dining out can feel like a logistical nightmare—but Brew Birds turned it into a downright delight! This place is a gem for big families like ours, blending a welcoming, family-oriented vibe with top-notch service and food that keeps everyone happy.
From the second we walked in, the atmosphere felt just right—lively enough to drown out our kids’ chatter but cozy enough to make us feel at home. The menu had something for everyone, and the portions? Generous enough to satisfy even our ravenous crew. The food came out fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor, earning thumbs-ups all around the table.
Our server, Kat, was the real MVP of the night. She handled our massive order with a smile, keeping things moving fast and making sure every kid got exactly what they wanted. When a small hiccup popped up with one of our dishes, Kat and the team jumped on it immediately, fixing it with such speed and grace that it only deepened our appreciation. That kind of responsiveness shows how much they care about getting it right.
You can tell Bill and his wife, the owners, are all in on making this place special. They were buzzing around, clearly dedicated to satisfying customers and going above and beyond. It’s obvious they listen to feedback and tweak things to exceed expectations—by the time we left, we were already planning our next visit!
Brew Birds nails it with great food, stellar service, and a family-friendly spirit that’s hard to beat. Kat’s attentiveness and Bill and his wife’s commitment to excellence made this a meal to remember. We’ll be back—probably sooner than we...
Read moreI had given up eating in Quinlan because it was hard to find something that wasn’t fast food
The next go to restaurants we typically between 10 to 15 miles away and that was generally on the way back to Rockwall
Did happen to chance upon visiting for a meal, which was surprisingly good
Being that my kids love, chicken wings, I made a second trip out of it to see what they thought and they absolutely loved them
Being that it’s a bar, food establishment, it’s hard to reason to take a family but, this is a little quaint country style town away from the city and you. You will probably find other families there right at home with having a good meal along with your family (or perhaps even the locals, that bark a lot louder than they bite)
At the time of this review, it’s understood that the establishment is only about eight months old so I think they’re still working some of the kinks out
And it’s no surprise that those kinks would involve the table service. Good table service. It’s hard to find and it seems though that if you tip well, it’s still not enough to maintain a fluidly, efficient and friendly staff
Teamwork is essential for table service and you can definitely tell her some things that still need to be worked out. But, whether it takes an extra 20 minutes for the food or perhaps the order is wrong, don’t forget that you’re in Quinlan, and the options for dining Are fairly slim.
I’m hoping to see this place remain so that we can keep getting chicken wings and hamburgers and not have to worry so much about getting back to town we’re from, so that we could have a decent meal after a fishing day with one or two...
Read moreJust ate here about 1hr ago. Ordered chicken wings with fries and ranch. Everything tasted fresh, even the fries tasted really good and fresh. I had wings stop 2 days ago and their meat some of it tasted hard but not Brew wings, all the meat was soft and good. The waitress, I forgot her name but she was very helpful and nice, she always came back with refills for my buddy who drinks tons. The ranch tasted so good, I doubt it's store bought which normally doesn't have that restaurant taste to it. The environment was normal. Glad there wasn't load music. They had football on all the Tvs and the smell was good. The restrooms were very clean, the women's I mean, I dunno bout the men's lol. Sinks were clean and it had that new wood smell. Friendly staff. I would go again for the burgers this time. And no one bothered us about our motor bikes outside parked on curb, thank goodness for that. Oh and I like that there isn't bright lights in there. It's not dark but just right. Thank you for the good food and really...
