Completely Unacceptable and Dangerous - You Deserve This Review
I usually don’t write negative reviews because I prefer not to damage someone’s business, but your restaurant’s negligence and utter disregard for our safety demand it—you have earned this bad review. I chose your restaurant because of its positive reviews, especially regarding the seafood, but my experience was absolutely disastrous.
I told your server several times, in no uncertain terms, that I am Muslim and that NO pork should be anywhere in our meal—no salami, no bacon, no pork whatsoever. Despite these clear instructions, you served a dish that contained bacon, and both my wife and I unknowingly ate a good piece of it (“Nectar bowl”). 2nd dish (Lobster Mamposteao) $68 extremely overpriced meal with 3 small pieces of lobster. This isn’t just a simple mistake; this is gross negligence. You blatantly disregarded our religious dietary restrictions and put us in an incredibly upsetting situation.
This shows a shocking level of carelessness and incompetence in your kitchen. If your staff can’t follow such a basic and important request, how can anyone trust your restaurant with more complex dietary concerns or even general food safety?
To make matters worse, the food was overly salty, making it almost inedible, and the table we were seated at was so unstable that we had to hold onto our drinks to prevent them from spilling. The entire experience was a disaster from start to finish.
You need to seriously reevaluate how your restaurant is run. This level of failure is not just unacceptable—it’s dangerous and disrespectful. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to be cautious when dining here. This was an unforgivable mistake, and your restaurant should be held accountable.
I wanted to spend some money here and have a quality time. But instead pure disappointment and disrespect.
Update1:
After your overrated restaurant i was throwing up in my room. Thanks for this unforgettable experience on our very last night at Hyatt.
Update2:
The meal with bacon was the Nectar Bowl. Check my order if you know how to. You guys messed up completely.
Instead of being polite and face the music you chose to put me in position where I made a wrong order. Guess what? the meal with bacon was Nectar Bowl. I will not be surprised if you gonna tell me that it was my mistake to choose your restaurant. And...
Read moreMy husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Nectar this Valentine's Day, and it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations! We were so enchanted by our first visit that we couldn't resist returning during our stay, and both times were absolutely spectacular.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere enveloped us in a warm, resort-casual vibe that made us feel right at home. The decor was inviting, and the ambiance set the perfect tone for a romantic evening.
Now, let’s talk about the food! We both opted for steak, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The seafood selection was equally impressive; I particularly loved the surf and turf, which was a delightful combination that showcased the freshness of the ingredients. The nectar bowls were also a standout, bursting with vibrant flavors and expertly crafted.
But what truly set Nectar apart was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and attended to. Their genuine kindness and attentiveness made our dining experience even more special. It was clear that they take pride in what they do, and it made a world of difference.
Overall, Nectar is a gem that we can't recommend highly enough. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a delicious meal, this restaurant is a must-visit. We can’t wait to return!
Also pro tip : they are very accommodating for dietary restrictions and list out common allergens right there...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I made a reservation here on day one of our trip. After looking forward to this the whole week, we left very disappointed with our experience. We started with the chicken as our appetizer, which was very good. I ordered the stuffed lobster and my boyfriend got the new york strip and lobster tail. When the entrées came out, the NYS tasted like roast beef and was cold. We asked for it to be reheated, once we got it back it was still certainly not worth $100. The lobster also was rubbery and the mash was cold and hard. After pushing the steak to the side and telling the server he did not enjoy it, she responded with “okay” and did nothing about it. We then asked another server for a manager who came right over, but when we told her how dissatisfied we were she did not apologize and told us she would be back. After waiting another 15 minutes she came back with the check, showing us they discounted our entrees 25% which we felt was not right considering we did not eat much of it. We understand it is not our server nor managers fault the food was bad, but the way it was handled was not professional for a place we spent $200 at after the discount. Overall we did not enjoy our experience and do not recommend. Take your...
