Our dining experience at PALIO – Wyndham Rio Mar was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to our waitress, Luzbeth, whose recommendations made the evening truly memorable. My wife began with the Burrata, which was incredibly creamy and paired beautifully with the accompaniments. Her main course, the Apricot Lamb Chops, was a standout—succulent, tender, and wonderfully balanced with the sweetness of apricot. The meal ended on a high note with the Tiramisu, a classic dessert elevated by the coffee-infused lady fingers and rich espresso anglaise. I started with the Local Oyster Mushrooms, which were earthy and flavorful, setting the stage for the main course, the Caribbean Lobster Carbonara. This dish was a masterful fusion of rich, creamy pasta and perfectly cooked lobster. I finished with the Chocolatissimo, a decadent dessert with layers of hazelnut mousse and a luscious chocolate sauce that was the perfect end to an outstanding meal. The ambiance at PALIO is warm and inviting, and Luzbeth’s attentive and friendly service made our experience even better. We followed all of her recommendations, and each dish exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to indulge in a memorable culinary experience.

We read that Palio had a VALENTINE’s special menu and thought we would check it out. This has got to be the most creative chef on the island. We started with the rosti with beet salmon gravlax and it was perfectly displayed and the taste was sublime. It was followed by a rose petal maracuyá sorbet that cleansed the palette to get ready for the entree. We chose the petite fillet mignon. Just the right seasoning, cooked to perfection, flavorful amd filling. The dessert we chose was chocolatissimo and it was outstanding. Do not leave Puerto Rico until you dine here and go for the Valentine’s menu. It will not disappoint.

It is advisable to go with a reservation through the site. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service of the employees and the waiters are excellent. The appetizer was chicken soup and it was delicious. The food was Snapper and Lobster Seafood with Tagliatelle. They were delicious and on another level. It is worth dining in this place with your partner or family. You will have a good time and eat well!!! Recommended. Update: July/2025 The service was excellent. They had changed the menu with authentic Sicilian Italian food. I think they can combine the former menu with the new one for a great experience.

This was a very yummy meal while we stayed at Wyndham Grand. I got the lobster which was very tasty. The sauce that they use with it was delicious. My husband ordered the catch of the day (snapper if I recall) and he loved it. Both were served with tortellini beneath the entrees. We split a bottle of wine which was $55 but very good. We also got the lobster bruschetta which was okay. $17 for the appetizer but you barely got any lobster and it was loaded with onions - and only three pieces. They serve bread and their portions are huge so you more than likely won't need an appetizer. We also got their sampler desert to go and it...
