Infusino's Pizzeria West — Restaurant in Racine

I hate to give them 3 stars but....ugh. I have been getting pizza here for over 25 years. This was the ONLY pizza I would get. It was the best at the best price, 10 stars.

The price is still good, but the pizza in my opinion has gone down hill. The last 8 pizzas have been bad and under sized (yes ... 8 ... I keep going back because I loved this place so much and I'm in denial that they are going down hill). Very light on the toppings, from sauce to sausage. The crust on most of them was tough as if they were using yesterday's dough. But the size.

The party pizza used to fill the box, from edge to edge, they were huge and 6 our of the last 8, on separate occasions, had over 2 inches of space from edge of pizza to box. I swear we have been getting larges.

This was confirmed with the last 2 we got. We had a large group and ordered 2 party and a large. We opened the box and the entire group, almost in unison as if it were scripted said "THAT'S a party pizza?" Both party pizza's had the space between the edge of pizza and box and were the same size as the large and fit just fine in the large box.

I'm still in denial and will be back; but, until they get it back together, will always be a little leery as to what I'm getting. Actual conversations in my house have been ... Will it be a party? Will the crust be tough? Will there be plenty of toppings? I don't know ... maybe we should do Durango's just in case (which we have), but rango's sauce doesn't agree with me ... guess we're...

Updated Review - 10/20/23: Friday night…. Neither one of us wanted to cook… we decided on pizza. So, we call for a pick-up from our favorite pizza place…. Infusino’s Pizza on Washington. It was delicious! We got a medium sausage and pepperoni pizza on virgin crust…. And an Italian salad. Everything was Mmmm!!! We love Infusino’s Pizzeria! ————————- Updated Review - 10/8/23: It was Sunday night and we ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni and sausage from Infusino’s to pick up. We were out and thought it would be easier to pick it up and eat at home. The pizza was DELICIOUS! The pizzas from Infusino’s are always the best! Mmmm!!! ———————— Updated Review - 12/7/23: We were craving pizza, so we ordered a virgin crust pepperoni and sausage pizza…. and a virgin crust cheese pizza. At the same time, we ordered an Italian salad. Everything was DELICIOUS! We love the virgin crust. The salad was jammed packed with lettuce, pepperoni, cheese, and olives! Yum! An Infusino’s pizza with sausage, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. What a great husband I am. Lol. She said it was delicious! Just like every pizza we ever get from Infusino’s. Update 7/27/2024..

So I waited 7 months to try again and they didn't get one of the sandwiches I ordered.. even though I specifically said Italian beef as my 2nd order.. called to say they didn't charge me.. and I explained how this is now the 2nd time I'd try to return as a customer.. never again.

Have ordered for years , usually the sheet pan pizzas .

Came in on New Year's Eve after placing a phone pickup and was told an hr , no problem. Came in at 50 minutes, paid and was told pizza was still cooking..we had a fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a pizza bread also .. waited 15 more minutes and asked about it .. a cook said the pizza had to be remade. . nobody had said anything at all .

I get things happen particularly on a holiday weekend.. I'm fine with that.. however leaving me to sit there like an idiot for 30 minutes waiting while food portion is warming on the oven.. ruining the pizza bread ( soggy ) and the fettuccine Alfredo with ( minimal chicken ) being lukewarm isn't really how I wanted to end 2023 . I'll rethink coming here again in the future. Our pizza was half sausage and half pepperoni ( pepperoni was only on outer edge of the pizza . Likely because it was rushed to be remade .)

PS I've worked as a pizza delivery driver for years before so I completely understand the stress involved on a weekend, but no communication just can't fly regardless of how...
