Rong Hua — Restaurant in Racine

This is not the place it used to be. I've been ordering them then since it was Rong Hua on 16th street. And then it was Uptown China/Rong Hua on Washington. Now it's been bought out and menu remade by new people I assume. The general Tso Chicken used to be dark and sweet with a slight kick and the chicken almost ball like and just perfect. Today it was red spicy sauce and cheap meat. It gave me heart burn just taking a piece. The sushi was fine. The spring rolls were double the size and just greasy and wet. They used to be small and crunchy. My husband didn't enjoy the steamed dumpling like he used to. He gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they rushed cooking them. Editing to add: I opened one up and they do look under cooked.

They get 2 stars because they had good customer service when it came to a communication error in something I ordered and they had it delivered to me with no extra delivery charge.

Overall, I don't know where I'll get good general tso chicken from and I probably won't order...

Ordered over the phone for wife, son and myself for a Friday night dinner. Was told would be ready in 10-15 minutes. When I arrived 15 - 20 minutes after I ordered I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. After a total of 35 minutes the rude owner handed me my food and said goodbye. I was patient and did not complain, I even left a tip (mistake). They made my wife's food the golden sesame chicken instead of the golden sesame beef. When my wife called the lady reread our order to my wife. When she got to the item my wife ordered there was a long pause. And she said it was the chicken we ordered. It was clear that not only did she realize their mistake but was not going to own up to their error. An apology for a basic human mistake would have been good enough. But to lie and continue to charge us for the beef along with the rude attitude is enough to give an unflattering review. It was a slow night at Rong Hua, I now can...

found a tooth in my egg roll, they didn't really do anything but try to cover their tails, not even reimbursed or attempted. we called to let them know, they said it wasn't any of their tooth's essentially and said they'll call back because they were busy. The owner came to my house while I was in the shower and spoke to my girlfriend and asked for the tooth back, she gave it to him to see and he handed her two egg rolls back, we never told him to come to our house, nor did I or her want egg rolls after finding a tooth in our eggroll. never again will I ever want to eat another eggroll especially nothing from here after. please take your money somewhere else or if you do, don't be surprised if you find something upsetting. just surprised he came to my house and took...
