That 4.8 Google average is well deserved. Let me explain. This is not a flashy, super elegant restaurant. And it doesn't need to be pretentious. Because it's definitely the one thing that matters most ultimately... Absolutely Delicious! I ended up in Kenosha recently while traveling for work. So as I always do when visiting a new city, I try to find some good Indian food based on whatever reviews I can find. I compare against other places I've eaten at and even against my own cooking or my family's cooking. When I walked in the restaurant, Supan greeted me immediately and was very outgoing. He explained how to build your perfect combo platter, what it would cost, and finally what dishes were available to choose from. I settled on the 'chicken rice' (as he described it to me) versus the plain rice. Essentially, it's a simplified chicken biryani as the base for adding your choice(s) of proteins and veggies on top of. (So far, he had not quite caught on to the fact that I was familiar with this type of food or that I was even of Indian descent). Anyhow, I topped my 'chicken rice' with chicken curry, and then pointed to another dish containing chick peas. As he ladled it on, I had to come clean. I said to Supan, 'You know, I really love channa curry. Can you please put a lil bit more on there? And finish off the platter with some dhal please.' His face lit up as he now figured I was some sort of Indian. After completing my order with some skewers of tandoori chicken and garlic naan, I hung out for a few minutes and we conversated about our respective backgrounds. I found him to be a really down to earth, respectful, and outgoing guy trying make a living through his modest establishment. Okay okay..all that aside...was the food going to be half as good as our conversation when I get back to my hotel to eat dinner? If you've read this far, then it should come as no surprise. The first spoonful of the channa curry and chicken biryani that entered my mouth made me pause in disbelief. The spices, the smell, the overall tenderness of that first bite blew me away. Okay, maybe it's just that. I bet the chicken curry isn't as good nor the dhal or the tandoori chicken. Imagine my delight as every additional bite kept getting better. I was floored! This food was absolutely awesome! I knew one thing immediately. Supan's mom or dad or grandmother is back there in the kitchen whipping up these truly homemade delights. That's what I tasted...my mom's cooking or my grandmother's. Love and care is put into every pot. The seasoning in every dish is dialed in perfectly. The heat is flavorful and enjoyable. It's just enough to open your appetite to want to keep eating more. I wanted to call the restaurant to compliment his food but thought better of it. I'll tell him in person for surely I must return to Kebab and Grill for an encore before heading home to Florida. And that's exactly what I did two days layer. Imagine his surprise to see me again. Imagine my surprise that he had beef curry, braised lamb shank, and a baby portobello mushroom stew on the menu today. And if you're wondering, it's like I said before. Every new dish that I put in my mouth somehow seems to taste even better than the last. And yes...his mom and dad are indeed the two chefs back in the kitchen delivering these savory, mouth watering dishes packed with love for all of us to enjoy 😋. Make it a priority to stop by here and experience what I have!...

After visiting the zoo & the beach during our trip to Wisconsin, we found this Indian restaurant in the neighborhood for the dinner.
It's a restaurant/banquet hall, & finding that there were steaming hot already prepared food items, was heavenly.
We picked up Samosa chaat, a mix of Veg & Non-veg delicacies —to-go containers served to the brim with Lots of Rice A gravy & A sabzi.
Samosa chat, chicken gravy with rice was so flavorsome, we all kept feeling thankful for the moment we stepped into this restaurant. But we couldn't get any Chapati/Naan because their chef had already left by then.
For the dessert— we all including the kids had scrumptious Kulfis.
Not to forget—Clean premises including the bathroom.
PS: A lot many times, we ended up finding incredible restaurants/eateries like this one in the nooks of a new city only because of the road...
