I cannot begin to explain how wonderful this place is. In a city that is strangely devoid of good coffee shop options, this place checks ALL the boxes and then some. ✅ Cozy ✅ Friendly ✅ Quality Coffee ✅ Local Pastries ✅✅ A Fantastic Mission!! You walk in to a lovingly taken care for interior of an old factory warehouse that has been given a modern flare, while also still maintaining the original charm of the architecture. No drywall covering to hide the character...and that's also how they operate. Just like their exposed exterior walls, this shop strives to let every person shine through and not hide behind societies fears and judgements. All that's needed is a bit of paint and and a helping and ANYONE can succeed. Their mission is "To provide teens and adults of all abilities the opportunity to gain essential work and social skills focused on building optimal independence within a supportive and loving environment." This mission doesn't come at the cost of customer experience either. I urge you to find a coffee shop that maintains the same level of care and dedication to the product and business. A place that's as friendly and welcoming AND with as clear of a morally conscious mission. It's clear that every employee and staff member is dedicated to that mission as well as bringing customers a great experience! It has become my go to place!! Hope to see you there!

Stopped here on the way to a bicycle ride. So glad that we did. This place has such a great vibe. Love the mission and the values that this business is founded on. The building is in the middle of the development of the Horlick Malt Company. It's a quaint building that has been lovingly repurposed for a coffee shop. There are several different seating areas. The picnic tables next to parking lot, the tables by the front entrance and inside. It has a terrific community feel to it. The staff were super friendly. They were patient and helpful with the menu selections. I didn't have my drink on the menu, but they did a great job in making it (London Fog, little vanilla, little lavender). We look forward to our next trip.

Wonderful local coffee shop with a mission to provide job opportunities to individuals with disabilities in Racine. Bakery items and drinks are great, the staff is super friendly, and the facility is welcoming. Nice space to meet a friend or do some work for a couple of hours (free wifi)! I’d love to check this out again next summer when the patio is open, they have lots of outdoor space and seating, too. Highly recommend.

I visited The Inclusive Bean last week after hearing great reviews. The cafe is bright with lots of seating and there were quite a few people inside. There was a $15 special for a tea (hot or cold) and an açaí bowl. I thought it was quite expensive compared to other businesses in the area but I imagined that it was either due to the use of a local brand of tea or perhaps larger portions. I ordered an iced tea, and because I wanted to dine-in, I asked for a glass. The cashier said they didn’t have anything except plastic or paper cups, so I asked her to put the iced tea in a paper cup. It took quite some time for my order to be called. I was disappointed to see that my açaí bowl had not been made to order and was premade in a plastic bowl with plastic cutlery and my iced tea was incorrectly made as a hot tea. They offered to take the drink back and fix it, but I didn’t want to waste the drink so I just asked instead for a cup of ice. They used a regular black tea bag and had steeped it for longer than my personal preference. Usually, if a cafe offers ice tea they offer a house-made iced tea but they did not even have that. Definitely not worth the price for the quality. Also, if you’re going to offer indoor seating - there is no reason to only offer plastic for people who are going to stay within the cafe to enjoy their drink/meal. Washing dishes takes ten seconds or else please invest in a dishwasher. I love the mission and idea behind The Inclusive Bean, but I can’t get over the exclusive use of plastic....

I can't say enough good things about The Inclusive Bean! It's more than just a coffee shop—it's a place full of warmth, kindness, and community spirit. I stopped in this morning, and to my surprise, the first few customers were treated to free coffee, thanks to a generous $100 gift card purchased by Ken from Franksville Craft Beer Garden. What an amazing gesture!

The smiles and joy it brought to everyone was contagious, and it perfectly captures the welcoming vibe of this place. The staff was so friendly and made each customer feel special. The coffee is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

If you're looking for great coffee and an even greater sense of community, The Inclusive Bean is where you want to be. Thank you again to Max, and Ken and to the wonderful team at The Inclusive Bean for making my day! Can't wait to come...
