Updated Review - 2/16/25: Once again… delicious food! Still our favorite Chinese restaurant in Racine! We had Crab Rangoons, a Vegetable Egg Roll, a Shrimp Egg Roll, Hot and Spicy soup, Chicken Fried Rice, and Shrimp with Cashews… and of course, fortune cookies. Everything was hot and delicious! We highly recommend Yellow Ginger Chinese Restaurant! ——- Original Review: Yellow Gingers is now our favorite Chinese restaurant in Racine. The food is delicious!!! The Hot and Sour soup was incredible. The Crab Rangoons were perfect. The Egg Rolls were jam packed with shrimp and chicken. The Steamed Dumplings were out of this world! Our main dishes were more than we could possibly eat. (Shrimp with Cashews and Chicken with Broccoli). The good news is we had leftovers for the next day. I am displeased to say the least. Although I usually do not use DoorDash due to the extra costs involved, I used that service to have the food delivered because I couldn’t leave to pick up my order. Every bite was a greasy assault on my taste buds. I ordered two egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken and chicken fried rice - all heavily loaded within an inch of the food’s life with dark brown grease. I should have taken a picture and I’m sorry I didn’t.

I’ve ordered food from Yellow Ginger in the past, and although not my favorite, the food was ok. Not exceptional but good enough to eat without any issues.
