Hi, I moved to PA from China 5 ish years ago. Eat here if you want generic, subpar, somewhat Americanized Chinese food like General Tso's chicken. Chinese restaurant chains make better authentic food. And if you have an allergy, good lord! Get the hell away, because the service is atrocious, and I had the benefit of being able to communicate more smoothly with the employees there using Mandarin.
Let me start with the food. It’s ok. The scallion pancakes are oddly thick and too doughy, and those are literally the most basic appetizer you can order at any Chinese restaurant in the states. Everything else I ate had a lot of sauce on it that have little taste and only served to make my mouth feel slimy.
My biggest complain comes from the service. For context, I have allergies to peanuts and some spices are often difficult to avoid or accommodate with Chinese food. My family and I notified the server, and after discussing for a bit, we ordered a few dishes that could work with my allergies. We get our food, we eat, and I have an allergic reaction a while later. I’m not allergic to trace amounts, so it took me a bit to feel the allergy. I gave them the benefit of the doubt: maybe I developed a new allergy to something. We hurry home, I take my meds, and am sick for two days. From home, we call the restaurant asking if we could get the ingredients to the dishes that I ate to see if we could pinpoint a new potential allergy. A manager or something comes on the phone, and curtly refuses to give us the ingredients. We go back and forth, and finally the lady snaps at us and says that I should be going to the hospital, it’s not their issue, and that we shouldn’t have called them. It was SUCH a rude response. No dip, Sherlock, I prioritized my health first. Why do you think I’m calling AFTER the ordeal? Did they think I was Plankton trying to steal the Krabby Patty recipe? Some undercover spy for a different Chinese restaurant? I’m afraid the food isn’t good enough for anything like that. If it wasn’t to ensure any aspiring restaurant owners could steal their recipe for themselves, then the only other reason they refused to tell us is because they completely forgot to alter the recipe to fit my allergies. They’re extremely rude, and very likely negligent. Have a good day if you read this far, and go somewhere else. I'd recommend, but I'm not sure if...

Read moreHey, we thought it would be very wise to let people know the true rating of this restaurant. I would like to review each individual component of our visit.
Food: we ordered more authentic Chinese dishes so our ratings on based on that. Bean Curd Skin Roll-6/10. Bean curd skin roll was bland and the vegetables inside were hard to chew and not properly prepared. For example a piece of a vegetable was difficult to chew and had to be spit out. Sticky rice lotus wrap- 2/10. Rice tasted like it had been steamed in water that had soap in it. Beef and sausage inside tasted old and felt like it was not fresh at all. Fried Chilean Sea Bass with black bean sauce- 7/10. Sea bass was well prepared and well fried however the black bean sauce heavily overpowered its highlights. Was 35 dollars on the day, would not order again. Mongolian Lamb- 6.2/10. Lamb was relatively well prepared and relatively tender, however the lamb itself did not even taste like lamb and we thought at first we had ordered a beef dish instead of what we thought. Meat to vegetable ratio was terrible and the sauce felt watered down. Fried Garlic Pork Spare Ribs- 5.4/10. Very salty. No garlic taste whatsoever. Very cheery and overcooked. Felt like it was breaded in a simple mixture of breadcrumbs. Very little meat on the ribs themselves, not worth the price.
Atmosphere: Very cold both physically and emotionally. As soon as we walked in, felt very monotone and quiet. Not many people in the restaurant during dinner hours, two people eating alone at a whole booth. Bathroom was nice, clean, and well kept.
Service: Service was ok. Lady was very nice and attentive but she would come back every 2 minutes checking if we were ready to order from...
