It's a command center for sports enthusiasts, with screens blanketing the walls, broadcasting games with the intensity of the Bat-Signal. The allegiance here is clear; Villanova banners hang like battle standards, a testament to local pride.

The establishment operates with a comfortable efficiency. It's not the shadowy haunt I prefer for contemplation, but it serves its purpose as a public gathering place with proficiency. The long wooden bar and sturdy tables provide ample seating for operatives and civilians alike.

The primary objective of this mission was to assess the provisions. The menu is a comprehensive tactical guide to American pub fare. My investigation focused on the "Philadelphia Cheesesteak." The target arrived on a plain white plate, its roll struggling to contain the generous payload of diced Angus beef, grilled onions, and melted American cheese. A preliminary bite confirmed the quality of the components. The meat was savory, the cheese properly integrated. It is a formidable and satisfying weapon against hunger. The accompanying fries were standard-issue, crispy and effective.

BatmanJawn's Detective Tips: • Consult the Tactical Schedule: My intelligence gathering revealed a slate of "Daily Food Specials." An operative on a budget should note that Tuesday is designated for half-price cheesesteaks and Wednesday for half-price burgers. Planning your infiltration around this schedule is strategically sound.

• Game Day Protocol: Given the sheer number of screens and the evident team loyalty, this location is an optimal theater for observing sporting events. Expect increased crowds and heightened energy levels during major games.

• The Arsenal is Deep: While the cheesesteak was my focus, the menu's breadth—from wings and loaded fries to hand-tossed pizzas and salmon BLTs—indicates a well-stocked arsenal capable of satisfying a wide range of culinary requirements.

Beware of... • Crowd Control: On a major game night, this pub could become as crowded as the Iceberg Lounge. For those who prefer a quiet stakeout, this could be a tactical disadvantage.

• Parking Maneuvers: Securing a parking spot for the Batmobile in downtown Bryn Mawr can require strategic planning. Arrive early or be prepared to patrol the surrounding streets for an opening.

Final Verdict: Flip & Bailey's is a reliable and well-run outpost. It excels in its role as a classic American sports pub, offering solid food, a welcoming atmosphere for fans, and a strong sense of community. It may lack the gothic grandeur of Gotham, but for a well-made cheesesteak and a place to monitor the game, it earns its commendations.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Management playing lottery scratch tickets, beers is poured 3 times complete foam and they would ask you just sit and wait till foam 🙄 goes away?? Extremely unfriendly, I went with a handicap person and they made them feel so uncomfortable my friend requested they have someone else handle our orders within 15min of being there. Then they over charged me $50 issued refund, then when I got home there was an unauthorized charge of $25??? I will be calling the police Tuesday morning after labor day.

Flat beer they expect you to wait for, Makes handicap people feel really uncomfortable, Over charges hoping you don't see, Unauthorized charges to your credit card after you leave .

And what the restaurant says is absolutely 💯 false, they are now saying they comped my bill???? I asked for my bill so I could leave. That's when I saw the original overcharge. 2 beers (1 for a friend) $58 Look at video Don't continue the dishonest ...

Visited Villanova for info session and tour with wife and teenage son. In looking for a local place for lunch, we found Flip and Bailey's. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. Table service by Debbie, the bartender, was fast and friendly. Nachos with pulled chicken were some of the best nachos we've had. Wife and son both got the chicken schnitzel sandwich and I got a turkey club. Everybody extremely pleased with their choices. One of my pet peeves is places skimping on the french fries. Happy to say this was not an issue at Flip and Bailey's, plenty of delicious battered fries....

The bartender was really nice, we ordered the pretzel with the cheese sauce ( I think the sauce could be better but it worked out), a cheese pizza, the chicken Philly cheese steak and the spicy chicken sandwich. everything was good and to our liking. We enjoyed the environment, the food and the people taking care of us. I will definitely be back during our next visit to Philadelphia.

Nice place. Appears to be the place in Bryn Mawr that everyone is comfortable going to. This was the tale of two different halves of a cheesesteak. My half was dry with very little extras. Amigo Dan’s half had most of the extras and cheese. This could be a top tier cheesesteak with even extras distribution and less salt. The bartender was adorable.
