Tony's Pizza — Restaurant in Rahway

Spent $61 today. Always pretty much the same order. Plain pizza half cheese, half pepperoni mozz sticks and a deep dish buffalo chicken. Plain pizza came only with cheese, mozz sticks were cold and the buffalo pizza wasn’t cooked all the way. I called to complain and the “man” that answered already had an attitude. I told him it wasn’t done and the only options given was to get a new one and bring back the old one or to bring the pizza back and get a refund. I opted for a refund. I drove back to Tony’s only to be confronted by the same “man” that decided to argue that the pizza was not only well done but I had eaten it. The box was returned with all slices only bites missing because my children began to eat it without me knowing how uncooked the pizza was. So now I have to defend myself against him and in front of his customers because I was truly unhappy with how the pizza was and I just wanted my $24 back. Should’ve just eaten the red baron in the freezer if I still had to cook my pizza 🤷🏻‍♀️. Whoever that “man” was, if your intentions was to give me a refund you could’ve just done that and not start an argument…….. with the his response below is all proof needed that you’re unprofessional and childish. I purchased on slice at 6:04 they said it would be ready within 20-25 mins. I got to Tony’s at 6:25. It’s sad that even after I made you get quiet at the store and got my refund you’re still talking. And after reading some reviews it seems as though I’m not the only one with half cooked pizza…. Byyyyeeeeee

Next time I want my dough fully cooked for sure I will ask for “well done” lmao. This is now your second response to your restaurant making a mistake and giving me a half cooked pizza. If you had this same energy that you are with responding to my honest review maybe… just maybe… my pizza would’ve been eaten and...

My family and I have been going to Tony's since I was kid, The pizza has always been good and consistent throughout the years never had a problem! I just recently moved back to Rahway after living in NYC for the past 8yrs! On Monday I decided to order a pizza and the nightmare began!!! First, I used the app Slice and I got a notification 3 minutes after ordering and it was letting me my food was on its way! How is this possible, it has only been 5 min ?? When the pizza was delivered, late the first slice and immediately I got a really strong smell/ taste of freezer burn from the pizza and the crust was super hard !!! I called Tony's and told them and they said they would pick up the pizza and replace it with a fresh pizza! This time, the pizza was delivered in about 30min, so l thought for sure I would be getting a fresh pixza straight from the oven, wrong!!!!!! The second pizza had an an even stronger taste and smell of frezzzer burn and it was disgusting! This time I contacted the Slice app customer service to contact Tony's!!! When I got the return call, customer service said they spoke to the owner and that the owner refused to refund me anything for the disgusting pizza !!! What's even more crazy is the pizza box has the word FRESH on the cover !!!! I am serious do not order from Tony's it was the worst pizza l have ever...

Very small tables inside but enough seats for about 20 people. Mostly for takeout and delivery! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, we had a party of 8 people and the food was served to us hot and delicious. Little bit of a wait because it was Labor Day! And they were getting slammed with orders, but handled it so professionally! We had lasagna pizza that was loaded with topping and delicious! Cheese pizza, Eggplant parm hero really good, the bread was amazing! Rice ball parm yummy! Best French fries we ever had piping hot and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. A giant meatball Stromboli, chicken parm meal with pasta, salad and bread, chicken fingers, ham and cheese hero and a Philly cheese steak. We loved everything but the Cheesesteak was not cheesy enough and the meat was chopped too much and a bit dry, the bread was amazing though! Good prices, yummy food and great service! Definitely...
