Very disappointed with my experience at this store. I got a sample of paint and asked for it to be 25% darker and liked it so I bought 3 cans, at $77 a pop, to paint my house. I tried the paint and it was slightly darker than the sample that I got. So I went back to the store and told them this and the man helping told me that it was the same shade and then took the paint sample and the paint color, made two blobs on receipt paper and walked around the store and took a poll to see if one was darker than the other. I told the man that the color looked different on my wall and he then proceeded to tell me that the sample will look different because it's a different base and that was why it didn't look the same. I was then confused as to why they had a sample to begin with. I felt bullied, embarrassed and outnumbered and felt like asking for a return was futile so I left. I then went to Paper Chase across the street to later find out that their paint was $58 a gallon! Manny was extremely kind and helpful with my predicament. So disappointing the lack of tact and kindness...

Been a loyal customer for 17 years .... until today. Ordered and paid for a new gas grill last week, to be delivered to my home (less than 10 minutes away). When purchasing it, I was specific as to what days I could be there (Mondays and Saturdays) and was told "no problem". Well, when they got the grill in, assembled and ready to deliver, I was told they don't deliver on Mondays or Saturdays. Rather than work with me on this, they left me with no option other than to cancel the order, which the rather curt phone rep seemed fine with. I was extremely disappointed, but have gone to one of their competitors, got the same grill at the same price, to be delivered at an agreed upon date (a Saturday, by the way). Store staff need to be re-trained on customer service and the concept that you can't shrink yourself to greatness. I'll be taking my future...

Excellent, full service local Ace hardware outlet. Prices are not always the cheapest but for range of items and helpfulness of staff you would be hard-pressed to do better. I find them especially useful as a hardware (nuts,bolts, etc) and garden supply (topsoil, etc) location, but they have pretty much everything you might want from a hardware store on a casual basis. My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that sometimes the prices seem a bit on the extremely high side for certain items. But, that said, I don't begrudge them that too much, as it is a true local store and they have to make it pay somehow. If you are used to big box shopping be aware that they keep traditional HW store hours, 6pm, earlier...
