A hidden gem in Rainier! The best Don Pedro location, period! The carnitas tacos are soooo tasty, and you get grilled onion and jalapeño when you order 3!! Friendly service, can take a few minutes to get your food sometimes. But absolutely worth it. The orange sauce is awesome and very hot! 20 MONTHS LATER, UPDATE: I've probably been here 50 times since my last review. I've been 100% happy with my food and service every single time except literally once and it was not even a big deal but I'm just being honest. That's AMAZING numbers. I love getting delicious food from this family-owned operation. Hits the spot every time. Great service. PLEASE tip the wonderful people at the window and show your appreciation. First of all my wife and I love Don Pedros. When go we go to the Longview location. We wanted to try something different so we went to the Rainier location. We walked in and we're slapped in the face with how cold it was in there. Now it's Winter time outside and it felt like Winter temperature inside as well. We asked why it was so cold inside. " Why is it so cold in here?". The lady at the counter said "it isn't working " I said " the heat doesn't work? " She said " no". Now if you like eating in 40° temperature then this is your place. Otherwise get it Togo and eat in your car. We wanted to eat in a nice warm Mexican restaurant. This place is not good for the warm aspect. My wife and I love the breakfast burritos. They have got smaller lately but always taste great! But I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito today and it was horrible. The egg (usually fluffy) was cold and over cooked yuck! The (usually golden brown and delicious) hash browns were cold and dried like they were in the cooler for a month. The grated cheese was hard and unmelted due to the old cold other ingredients.I will give them one more try.... sure hope they get back to what made them so good. The young lady taking my order was very nice and a sweetheart that was a plus. Please Get back to what made you so good!...
