Wanted to take a moment to update this review: the building has had some updating. New paint, and all that. It definitely looks nice and well kept. This time around, I tried to filet box dinner which came with a generous amount of teriyaki steak served on sautéed onions (which was super delicious and super saucy), fried rice, vegetable egg rolls, and 4 pieces of sushi. It is also served with an appetizer of the clear soup and salad. Every single bit of it was delicious. Except the sushi, but that is a personal opinion and not at all the fault of the restaurant. I order the box to save a little money off of the hibachi filet price so I knew what I was getting into with the sushi being included, lol. We also got the fried gyoza as an appetizer. Was definitely good, and crispy like gyoza should be. Great price, food was delicious. I ate so much I was absolutely miserable the rest of the evening. I do love the hibachi experience with the person cooking in front of you, but it is also refreshing to be able to get some good Japanese food without having to be social with a cook and other families sitting at the same table. Would definitely recommend. Changed rating from 3 star to 5/5.

Restaurant building is outdated. Food is good, though. The restaurant definitely has a local loyal following, so I think you just have to really be into sushi to get the full experience. Coming from someone that isn’t, I’d rather go to a hibachi. But if you’re in it for the sushi,...

My husband and I are what you call food snobs when it comes to foreign dishes. Our palettes have more acquired taste buds so ot has been difficult for us to have what we want as our 'go to' sushi spot since moving to the area from where we lived previously out of state. We nade the haul to try this spot out because my husband and I really wanted to try this restaurant tonight. Toki takes the cake against all sushi and hibachi places around our local area. Everything is made in house, and tastes made from scratch which we thoroughly enjoyed. Jeffery (or if spelt Jeffrey) was a pleasure to have as our server, and the enitre staff are so friendly and inviting. My taste buds are happy and I my belly is full with content. Service is quick and the food comes out timely even when they're busy. Worth every penny and the drive! We can't wait to see ya'll again soon and thank you for the exceptional food and service...

This review is going off of a most recent review from Rhonda Herren. I was your waitress. I assure you that our restaurant is not dirty, and I was there all day and no bad smell was in the kitchen. The health department was there a few days ago, and they didn’t find anything wrong. I put in your order completely right. The TNT Roll is in fact NOT DEEP FRIED!! We showed the menu to prove it. We offered to fix you some new rolls multiple times, but you refused. There was no need to explode the way you did. You better be glad I didn’t answer the phone when you called back multiple times after leaving, or I would’ve said some things that are not nice at all. And writing a FALSE REVIEW on Google maps isn’t going to solve your personal problems:) So, with all of this being said… if you ever want to come back and eat at our AMAZING restaurant, come back with a better attitude and I’ll be happy to serve...

I happened upon this restaurant between my appointments with our customers. I’m so glad I saw this restaurant because what I ordered (Sushi Deluxe) was just really good. Rice was cooked well and sushi vinegar was applied very adequately. Raw fish tasted very fresh on every piece of sushi I had. Next time I’m in town I’ll have to try other things. One thing is that prices listed on the menu aren’t updated - but it says on the door as you enter the restaurant that they had to raise the price on everything due to the pandemic or something. But even though they raised the price on everything I still thought it was a bargain for all that sushi for that price. I highly recommend this place!
