Andia’s on whole has a large number of flavors. They’re fine. Some are mild despite big names. Bacon Maple Praline was more of a vanilla ice cream with nuts more than anything else. Two whole bits of bacon did nothing for me.
My biggest beef is that at all locations, your cups are weighed between scoops. I’ve been to two different locations and both do this. Who measures ice cream? Menchies and Yogurt Mountain, froyo places. Ice cream is a supposed to be an indulgent treat. Measuring my indulgence doesn’t make me feel better. Do you like fries at the bottom of the bag? That’s indulgence.
Another thing on the scales, any ice cream that has mix-ins is inherently going to be heavier. You got one scoop of vanilla and one scoop of Reese’s Pieces? Bet your Reese’s Pieces scoop will be smaller.
Instagram people will love all future locations of Andia’s. Y’all enjoy. I’ll go other places that don’t have multiple scales visible at...
Read moreWe all know the ice cream is great. Well if you don't, go and you'll know soon enough. What I find remarkable is how nice and extremely helpful the employees are. I've been to all 3 locations and it's the same consistent service and kindness. Patient. Great recommendations. Positive attitude. Smile. Always. Kudos to the outstanding ice cream and equally outstanding employees. This was my 1st visit to the Raleigh location. I love that I can get my ice cream earlier here (+ it's closer to my house). The ice cream recommendations were spot on and I now know Andia's has the cookies & cream gold (platinum, even) standard. This is what cookies & cream should ALWAYS taste like. Although you can't miss with the ube milkshake. Oh, and they have seasonal cones: pumpkin spice, peppermint, and gingerbread. Though those are not...
Read moreLove this ice cream spot! I always recommend it to others. I first visited Andia's when I lived near the Cary location. Everything was great. This location seems to just not be so great. Customer service is always just about lack luster, as if someone is forcing them to be there. Serving size is ridiculous, if I get a waffle cone why are my scoops below the top of the cone? And not just by a little bit. I literally have to shove my face down in the cone or bite down around it to finally get to the ice cream. The ice cream is definitely a bit more in $ than other local shops and that’s fine because the flavor and quality is nice but I feel the serving size should also match as well as customer service. I’d like to frequent Andias more but due to this I’m always hesitant. Maybe I’ll try visiting the Cary locations...
