Bojangles — Restaurant in Raleigh

Imagine this scenario. You’re sick, you don’t feel like cooking and think picking something up for your son and yourself would really help things. You’re both hungry. You place an order online and because you’re sick, you avoid going inside because, you have a fever. You inform them at the drive thru you placed an order online and normally you’d go in to pick it up but you’re sick. After the dude with glasses is annoyed already at your request, instructs you to pull around. Then they hand you someone else’s order, you don’t realize it until you’re waiting for your drinks and they seem confused. You then have to show them your order again and hand over your phone. Then the rude man says you have to come in. You then reiterate you’re sick, have a fever and don’t feel like coming in. This order was for pickup, why does it HAVE to be picked up inside? I can’t tell you how many restaurants I have been to that have no issues with you picking up online orders in drive thru, some even require it specifically after a certain time of day. Then after being even more annoyed they tell you, “it’s not ready yet, just park over there and we’ll bring it out to you.” After 15 minutes, your suspicions are realized that they are indeed punishing you for ordering online and having the audacity to use the drive thru! You go inside and pick it up and they act like they’re just packing it up. You get home, you only live across the street, and the food is cold! Your suspicions are reconfirmed. You dared order online and tried to think of others’ well-being and avoid the possibility of spreading whatever unpleasant illness you’re carrying. There was this nasty bug a few years ago, can’t put my finger on it, but people used to take it serious! This was my scenario today. Needless to say, after being nearly a daily regular to this location, after being treated this way, I won’t be back. Also, I’m seeing a trend in the comments. It seems this same guy has had several complaints and Bojangles I guess ignores it because I guess this is how they treat...

This was during Friday evening, 4/26 at 7 PM

I had a double stacked Uber Eats delivery order, both pick ups from here for about $8 in total. I would not have done this if I had known how long this would take. It was not worth the effort.

One of the orders that was ready was handed to me. The other they said was being "processed."

They were doing as little as possible for Take Out orders because they were focused on the drive-thru 95% of the time.

Another person at the Take Out door was standing there before me, for even longer.

After waiting for over 10 minutes, the wait time was getting ridiculous.

I asked if one of the orders on the rack behind the door was my other delivery order. It in fact was. All it needed was 2 large sweet tea drinks. It was sitting there for around 5 minutes before I asked.

After another 2-3 minutes later, they finally handed me the other order and drinks after in total waiting over 20 minutes.

Didn't acknowledge how much time this took. Instead, they just told me to come back anytime.

It doesn't take this long to make a persons order. I go here myself. Going through the drive-thru, you will have your food within seconds after you pay.

The staff are incompetent anti-white racists, and they will mock you when you start to show them that you're fed up with them...

You never know what a person is going through or who your speaking to so you always should act like you have some sense!. I’m a small business owner of a restaurant myself so i know how customers can be. But for me to be polite and everybody have nasty attitudes is insane. (I’m pretty sure it was the manager that had blue eye Shadow on this disregards her she was great) but the staff? Miserable! And we wonder why black women have the “mad black woman” stereo. The light skin big lady had a nasty attitude from the start. But i ended up having to come back because they messed up my order. If you had some sense you’d know the customer is always right no matter what! Then i handed them my box they said they weren’t able to accept it. Then the lil dyke i guess it was a shift change or something cause the lady with eye shadow was no longer there but the dyke was and she had just as bad as a attitude as the lightskin lady and gon say “let me get that box” and take the box i just tried to give them as if i was tryna get over on them?? I think her name was like shaquella or something she had black name earrings in. As if we’re still in 2006. We too young to be this...
