Animazed — Local services in Raleigh

I would like to preface this review by saying I don’t typically leave reviews and I have been a long returning customer at this store and have never had a negative experience so it upsets me to leave this. Today me and my partner decided that we wanted to come to this location just to browse and hang out like we typically do, sometimes we stay for like 30-ish minutes and the employees are kind and laid back. Yet, today when we came in the two employees working greeted us normally when we came inside and everything was fine but then they kept following us around the store and asking us the same question “do you need help looking for something, etc.” it was extremely persistent, constant, and pushy. We were in the store for a whole ten minutes and I can safely say that they followed us around the whole time and asked us the same question like 10-12 times. Then when we finally left one of the employees asked why we didn’t purchase anything and if we have been to the other location which we had and is valid because she didn’t know. I’m not super mad about the customer service because that’s their job and I understand but I would just really like to see improvement with the constant questioning and following us around the store it feels pushy, comes off as profiling and just puts a weird energy...

First I'd like to say that I loved this place! My friend and I walked in to see that there was much more to their inventory, space, and visual display than we initially expected! We intended to only be there for maybe an hour, but we got lost in the amazing anime world of this store for almost 3 hours! From statues, to apparel, to figurines, Manga, and more, we were in awe! It's ago easy to spend a lot of money if you're not careful!

Second, the staff asked us a few times if we needed help with anything throughout our journey, which we appreciated. Carmen, Nolan, Sarah, and the other staff members were quite courteous and provided great conversation about anime and answers for any questions we needed about any products. Carmen was personally helpful and stuck with me to search for the best Manga for me to get into, genres, discussed synopses of his recommendations, asked other staff about those they were more knowledgeable, and he hand picked one that I am currently enjoying the read. He even helped me carry some of my statues to the car. He deserves 5 stars alone!

The staff was patient and wrapped both statues in boxes. I was told everything was secure. I had a great 5 star experience! I recommend any fellow anime, manga, and video game go patronize their...

MIKU HEAVEN!!!!!

This store has probably the best curated collection of Hatsune Miku merch including Keychain, acrylic stands, plushies, stickers, key chains, figures and scale statues. Like OMG. It is amazing! I would say the prices are fair for what they offer, especially for the scale figures. The Miku Lucky Orb figure is sitting around the same price of ones coming right from Japan except without the pesky tariff fees. (It's one in have had my eyes on for a long time but can't justify the $200 usd purchase with hubby being Furloughed right now.)

The store is also well maintained. Very clean, dust free (shocking!), and no weird smells. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Great talking to them.

They also have tons of other figures and merch. Tons of Dragon Ball and One Piece.

I saw items and merch from the following titles / IPs - Inuyasha, Final Fantasy 7, Berserk, Cowboy Bebop, Fate, Card Captors, Overlord, Urusei Yatsura, JoJos , Spy Family, My Dress Up Darling, Jujutsu Kaisen, Date Alive, Honkai, Genshin, Dan da Dan, One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, Love is War, Gundam and just soon much more.
