Was visiting by Raleigh and looked for breakfast spots , and this shop was the nearest from where we stayed. .. was crowded and it took sometime in the queue to place our order .. good seating arrangements inside to dine in.. lots of parking outside .. location wise it was ok . Price was also ok .. Service time could improve . Took us 15-20 mins just to order and get our coffee/ bagels .🥯 .. coffee was average . Was more watery and wish they could make it better. Bagel with cream cheese was good. .. I also ordered a bagel with egg and it was very very average .. not good at all. They do t make eggs fresh . And the bagel wasn’t toasted enough to feel the crunch of the bread/ egg… thought of giving 2.5 , but gave a 3 because I didn’t see many other breakfast shops around .. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time visiting this location usually go to wade ave. location or the avent ferry location but any ways. I was expecting a drive thru looked around and none in sight and was forced to go in. No inside dinning option available yet for those who like to eat in. Looks like a worker shortage like every other place in town. The bagels were ok but was not able to tell difference between the onion and plain bagels. The bagels were a little odd shaped and not consistent size I would just blame this on the employees baking skills and guess quick overturn in employment that’s probably taking place. Until than bagels will be subpar. Good luck.

Update: honestly wish I could take off another star for wasting my time contacting customer service to not even get a reply. Do better Bruegger’s. Been coming here for years and for the last few months service is lacking. There’s ALWAYS something wrong with our orders. Even today when I thought they got it right after one bite I realized our bagels were missing the cream cheese. We got two Sriracha Honey Sunrise bagels sub sausage and the only thing they got right was the sausage… spending almost $30 for a dry mediocre bagel sucks. Will probably start driving to the other location from now on.

Food is great, but service is bad. Ok for take-out, not good for dining in.

Had probably one of the silliest interactions with staff today. Ordered a sandwich. They asked for which bagel and I said the bagel type. The cashier stated they were out in which at first I said "oh my bad" and look over to see what else they had. When I looked over, I noticed they had the bagel I wanted (it was the last one). I stated this, and the cashier admitted that their glasses probably hindered their vision and asked which other bagel I wanted. I ordered a different one, but it was the most careless and probably dumbest thing I ever heard. I could see it, they "couldn't" see it, and just didn't care.

It was a silly thing, but what I took it to be is that either there was something wrong with that bagel, or it was being used in a different order. I would have been ok with those 2 answers, but I don't understand how or why someone would tell me they are out, when we both looked at the same exact thing.

I continued the order since I was on a simple lunch date, but definitely will not come back for yet another year if this location is still open.

Aside from that, the inside eating area was definitely not the cleanest. It wasn't my first choice to begin with, but my date wanted to try it out. They also were not...

Just left this place and wanted to share my experience. I ordered the double stack on the new hash brown bagel with a side of hash browns, plus a blueberry bagel with cheddar cheese, bacon, and strawberry cream cheese. After placing my order, I waited 4-5 minutes before being told they were out of the hash brown bagel. No big deal—I substituted the bagel and waited.

While waiting, the employees were chatting and laughing while working slowly, and their manager Brad was standing by but didn’t step in to help with orders. I figured, okay, sometimes things happen. But then, about 10 minutes later, one of the two employees on the line said they’d been out of blueberry bagels all day. The other employee even called it out to me like I couldn’t hear her—this should’ve been mentioned when I ordered.

I asked Brad for a refund due to the multiple inconveniences and wasted time. As the person in charge, he allowed this kind of service and employee behavior. I ended up going to the location down the street, and while they were out of hash browns there too, the customer service, atmosphere, and speed were much better...

I've been going to this location for over 15 years. The first 8 years were excellent. Good food, good service, welcoming atmosphere. The next few years, despite the horrible service (there was one employee in particular who was extremely rude - I could never understand how she was kept on for so long), I still enjoyed the bagels and coffee. Then, they got rid of my daughters' favorite bagel, stopped selling my favorite seasonal cream cheese, closed the dining area, and changed the ordering structure, but I continued my patronage without complaint. But today, it impacted my wallet and I have to say something. I paid over $11 (+ the required tip - don't say it is not required, NO TIP is not an option on the online pad) for a Western bagel and large coffee. I asked for the bacon extra crispy. Not only was it not crispy, it was undercooked and EXTREMELY greasy. It was so greasy, that it drenched the bagel. There were barely any veggies and NO sauce. The grease had drenched through the paper bag onto the leather seat of my 8 day old car. ...
