I rarely leave reviews but this needs to be said - I hope someone sees this and does something about it . Dunkin’ Donuts is a franchise and this location is shameful. This location has become literally trash - I’m sorry for the strong words but the drinks are never made right , they are always out of munchkins, and food is often stale . The customer service is sub par , the drive through is unproductive , their head sets and speaker crackles constantly . The employees do NOT know how to deal with special request (no matter how simple it is ) and fail to follow instruction. I am in customer service and management so I ALWYAS remain calm , polite and patient even when they don’t do anything right because I know what goes into dealing with people all day . Clearly the staff needs more experience & training . I have been going to this location for the last 6 years . I’m assuming Covid hit them hard because this location seems neglected and uncared for - the staff too. Maybe treat staff better and you won’t have miserable , uninterested , unprofessional and clueless employees? I don’t know . Today I asked for 6 donuts - 4 glazed and 2 chocolate. I received 5 chocolate , one glazed didn’t notice this AFTER I left. I asked for a vanilla latte , with LIGHT foam . I got a cup of SOMETHING with 3/4 foam , politely asked to fix it , got back SOMETHING with much less foam but not at all a vanilla latte - basically tasteless warm ish drink . Also didn’t notice until i got back on the road. I was the only one in line and from order to check out took them 9 minutes . Not the first time with similar experience either. I’ve written all this to say that they need help and I’ve given them so many chances because I get it. I think there’s something seriously wrong with how this location functions and I hope they get the help and make the improvements...
Read moreOf all the Dunkin locations in North Raleigh, the Wakefield one used to be the best - friendly staff, consistently quick and reliable service, accuracy on orders, etc. In the last year or so, it has gone down hill to the extreme. Today was especially bad. I saw when driving up that the drivethru lane was 10 cars deep and adding more, so I went inside. When I went in, there were 4 other people in line to order and another 8 waiting to pick up their orders. Most of those waiting had received their orders by the time I was able to order (approximately 10 minutes due to folks ordered food and an apparently new associate at the register). I ordered a hot coffee with cream. After waiting another 20 minutes after ordering and seeing no less than 6 orders filled that came in after me, I left without receiving my order. All of the drinks I saw filled during that time appeared to be iced only. This should not have taken that long to fill with a staff of 8 behind the counter. I drove the two miles up the road to the Bedford Dunkin that opened a couple months ago. Zero cars in the drivethru, a full parking lot with people hopping off their bikes to go inside. Ordered via drivethru, paid and received my order in 2 minutes. Back home now and suspect my hot coffee ordered at the first Dunkin is still not ready yet. Beyond annoyed and disappointed with the Dunkin that is right by my house. Management needs to know and needs to fix this location....

My mother and I went through the drive through to order two bacon egg and cheese on Croissants one hot medium chai latte and one hot medium decaf coffee with a shot of sugar free French vanilla. We could barely understand the employee at the window so when he was naming off our order we didn’t understand that the drink he was repeating was just one drink. We received our breakfast sandwiches first they were on bagels. Then we revived the drink. They combined both our drinks together and we had to repeat what we wanted four times. We had to park the car and wait longer. My mother went in to fix the breakfast issue and again had repeat what she wanted for the drinks. Everyone was bumping into each other in the back it was so unorganized. They were making things people didn’t order. We finally got our drinks and out breakfast sandwiches, drinks were correct but once again the breakfast sandwiches were on bagels and not Croissants. So once again we had to go inside to correct this issue. It seemed like there was no managers just a bunch of kids trying to run the place. Everyone in the store just got the wrong order. No one was trained no manager. No space...
