McDonald's — Restaurant in Raleigh

In 2013 when I moved here this place was great. A year or so later there seemed to have been a change in management, new employees showed up, and the places overall quality has gone waaaaaaay downhill.

The employees are generally rude, and they look at you like you have an arm growing out of your forehead. It is all too common to have an order screwed up, missing items, or the wrong order completely.

I don’t eat out a lot, but I live close to this Mcd’s and I routinely drive a couple miles to the Mcd’s at Falls Pointe in order to avoid this place and their awful service.

9/8 EDIT- For some forsaken reason, I went back. This place is absolute, 100% TRASH. The employees look dirty and have hand and face tattoos. One of the damn women was walking around with some stupid weave or dreadlocks or whatever, swingin em all over the place around the food. The manager I spoke with had no teeth and looked like she hadn’t showered in a month. All of the employees’ uniforms were wrinkled, shirts untucked... just no pride in how they look or present themselves. Unbelievable.

This place SUCKS. It’s a freaking cesspool. It’s like they set out to hire people that scowl at you and treat you like the dirt on their shoe.

This is an apple pie they gave me instead of the 2 strawberry pies I ordered in the drive through. When I went in to exchange them, it became apparent that they flat out lied and just gave me what they had, instead of letting me know they were out or only had one strawberry pie instead of two.

The way this pie looks is routine. I have NEVER gotten a pie from this location that looked any better than this. Who sells this kind of trash to people?

I hope they bulldoze this place, or at least get a general manager that actually cares about the quality of worker they hire, and how they treat their clientele.

I can’t say enough bad things about this trash pile of an establishment. Dirty. Unsanitary. Unkempt. Hair swaying around food.....:...

If I could, I would give "0" stars. This had to be the worst experience I've ever had at ANY fast food restaurant. We waited in one drive through for 10 minutes without anyone taking our order (but orders were being taken in the other lane), so then after checking to see if we could go inside (it was closed @ 9:15pm on a Friday) we pulled around and waited in the other drive through lane and waited for another 5 mins. Now orders were being taken at the other lane that we were in before. So finally we just pulled up to the 1st window and no one was there. Then when we finally got to the 2nd window, there was a young girl there that didn't even know how to key in our order. I asked for the manager but the girl said that she was working the grill and they were the only two taking care of customers. However, there were two other women there cleaning and mopping floors. They should have been helping serve customers not trying to clean so they can get out on time. They could stay late and cleaned when customers were gone. The girl asked us to pull up and wait for our order which we did. We waited for at least 15 mins and finally another girl came out with our bag but she had the nerve to stand further up on the sidewalk and shook the bag at us and wanted us to pull up so she did not have to walk out and deliver it to our car. No apologies, no offer of a refund for horrible service. Nothing. To top it off... They got the order wrong. ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE. This would never happen at Chic-fil-A. That's why McDonalds has the poor reputation it has. Avoid this McDonald's...

If I could give -5, I would! Horrible food, service, and Customer Service. I will never be returning to this location. The Woman at the front is VERY rude. The forgot the 4 piece nugget and the sauces, I went up nicely and was ignored after she clearly seen me standing there. I was patient and calm as I waited, maybe she’s busy. No she straight up ignored me and I asked excuse me I am missing my nuggets and all my sauces. She snatched my receipt and asked the other rude employee “Didn’t you put her nuggets and sauce in the bag” he said yeah. I said I got the 10 pc and I didn’t get the 4 pcs and also I got one sauce and it was one I didn’t ask for. The woman told me we charge extra for sauce, I said I ordered it on the kiosk and it didn’t charge me so I didn’t know…. So continued to ignore me…. I was handed my bag with the 4 nuggets and I asked for sauce… she said he put some in the bag.. there was NO sauce in the. My Husband had to come up and say excuse me I need some sauce. First off… I get it if you’re having a bad day, I do! But there’s no need to be rude to me when I’m not being rude. I could have been I really could have. Second if they don’t want to have a cashier at the front taking orders and they want you to USE the KIOSK… it’s not my fault that they don’t charge for sauce… I have never been charged extra even if they do. I would have paid if it had charged me. Just horrible all around and it’s not the first time either. But I have learned my lesson this time, I will never return to...
