King Baguette is a true gem for anyone who loves authentic Vietnamese food served with care and quality. From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you with friendly smiles and warm hospitality that make you feel instantly welcome. The dining area is bright, spotless, and thoughtfully designed — modern yet cozy, with a calm, inviting atmosphere that adds to the experience. The fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork were a fantastic way to start the meal. Each roll was generously filled with crisp vegetables, tender slices of pork, and juicy shrimp — fresh, vibrant, and delicious. The peanut sauce on the side was rich, nutty, and perfectly balanced, elevating each bite to something truly special. Then came the banh mi, and it was absolutely spot-on perfection. The French baguette, baked in-house, was everything a great baguette should be — crisp and golden on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. It paired beautifully with the flavorful meats, pickled vegetables, and fresh herbs, creating a satisfying mix of textures and flavors in every bite. To finish, the pho was simply outstanding. The broth was deeply flavorful, aromatic, and comforting — clearly made with care and patience. It came with fresh vegetables and herbs that added the perfect balance of freshness and crunch. Every spoonful was hearty and satisfying, easily making it a 10 out of 10.

The only disappointment of the meal was the fried egg rolls. While they were crispy and well-cooked, they were quite small for the price and, surprisingly, came with a sweet-and-sour sauce rather than the traditional Vietnamese dipping sauce (nuoc cham). The overly sweet flavor of the sauce didn’t quite complement the rolls as expected. Overall, King Baguette is an excellent choice for high-quality Vietnamese food served with care and style. Despite the minor letdown with the egg rolls, everything else — from the spring rolls to the banh mi and pho — was outstanding. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic, flavorful...

This was my 4th or 5th time ordering from King Baguette. I want to start off by saying that all of the staff are kind and they all seem to be working really hard with the number people coming in everyday. The first few times I visited, I ordered their Boba Milk teas, which I do like. They did get one order wrong and not include Boba when I paid for it, but I didn’t realize it until I already got home.

I’ve had their Beef Pho twice now. The first time I had the spring rolls with my Beef Pho and the second time (tonight) I had the Beef Pho with their egg rolls. They did get my order wrong and put both onions and jalapeños in my Pho. I let my husband try the egg rolls. Both of our stomach’s hurt after eating the egg rolls, but he ended up getting so sick that he started throwing up. I believe he got food poisoning from the egg rolls.

While I do appreciate the new business in Ramsey, I do think there needs to be some...

Happy to have a new place for banh mi nearby! I ordered my food to go and, while it seems they do have some kinks to work out, everything was correct with my order. The spring rolls I ordered didn't come out with my sandwiches, so I asked and there was a bunch of back and forth to get them... And then they came out for dining in... They took them back and packaged to go. It's obvious they're working to fine tune and smooth things out between front and back of house. I will be back to try again and to try the pho.

One tip/note: I'd love of the veggies could be slightly more pickled, they didn't really pack that punch I love in a bahn mi. The meat inside the sandwich was super flavorful and the bread was delicious! The spring rolls (shrimp) were also great and dipping sauce was perfect! Cant...

(Grand Opening Review) King Baguette 7912 Sunwood Dr NW Ramsey, MN 55303 A brand new Vietnamese spot, King Baguette, just had its grand opening this week, officially kicking things off on September 29th, 2025. We had to stop by to check out what the newest addition to the neighborhood is serving up. Banh mi breakdown: We tried two of their signature sandwiches: the King's Special Banh Mi and the Grilled Pork Banh Mi. On the whole, the flavor profile is what you'd expect from a classic banh mi, all the savory meats and fresh, crisp veggies are there. However, both sandwiches landed at a 6.5 out of 10 for me. My main hesitation was the baguette itself. As you can see in the video, the texture felt a bit off to my palate; it didn't quite have that signature light, crispy-yet-chewy quality I was looking for. I also noticed that the sandwiches didn't seem to include the traditional pâté, which is a staple in many classic banh mi recipes. It’s possible this was just an oversight on my order, but it was a key flavor component that felt missing. Drinks: The drinks were definitely a solid point of the visit: Brown Sugar Milk Tea (7/10): It's a classic for a reason. I was happy to find the sweetness level was perfect for my taste, but I do like it sweeter, my wife said she'd take a 50-75% sweetness next time. A big plus was that you don't have to buy extra boba pearls, they're already included! Strawberry Smoothie (7/10): surprisingly tasted exactly as what you would expect it to, and it's definitely what you want on a hot day. I thought it would be powder mix, but I'm not even sure at this point because it was actually good. It was bright, refreshing, and definitely hit the spot. Honest conclusion: Overall, it's exciting to see a new Vietnamese Asian American spot open up in Ramsey! King Baguette is serving a decent product, and as a brand-new restaurant, they're still finding their rhythm for sure. We'll definitely have to give their other menu items, like their pho, rice dishes or vermicelli bowls, a try the next time we're in town. A quick note on taste: Remember, these are my honest, unfiltered reviews based on my own experience and preferences. Food is completely subjective! What I rated a 6.5, you might absolutely love. I encourage you to check out King Baguette for yourself and form your own delicious opinion! #Minnesota #BanhMi #SmallBusiness #Foodie #VietnameseFood
