Express Sushi & Teriyaki — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

I stoped by to grab a quick meal at Express sushi & Teriyaki and was hit with a pleasant surprise. I thought Express sushi teriyaki was going to be like your average teriyaki joint. Boy was I wrong, as I walked in I seen the lights on the ceiling and walls. It was a pleasant atmosphere. The waiter greeted me and sat me down at the table Of my choosing. I overlooked the menu for about five minutes and had the waiter explain a little bit to me. It was not long before I made my decision on getting the teriyaki Plate with four piece sushi roll of my choice from the several they had to offer for the special. I put in my order. Didn’t take long for the meal to come out. The presentation of this dish was on point. I had the deep fried California roll, which was phenomenal, but I think out of everything my favorite was a tossup between the green salad and the slice cucumber salad. The teriyaki was cooked perfectly from the grill. Definitely coming back no-brainer highly recommend this place if you want to get a quick lunch or a quick dinner or even have a date night with your special someone. Five stars all around! I would give this place -5 stars if I could. You can find better food for less money . A couple weeks ago, I called them and asked for advice on what kind of sushi is good because I could not eat raw fish. They recommend sushi that is on the picture. I came home. I opened my box, and I see those rolls, and as everybody can tell on the top, it's raw fish for sure. I called them, and I asked. They told me they're going to call me back in a little while and tell me if it's raw fish. I was waiting for the call back for about an hour. Even when they called me back, they still told me that it's not a raw fish and I'm good to eat it. I still wasn't risking with my health , and I removed everything from the top fish and cheese cream. I ate only those sushi that day, and I was feeling sick for whole day , and at the end of the day, when I was driving, I threw up 🤮 everything I ate , and only after this I start feeling much much better. So I'm not going to go there again, for sure,and will not recommend to anyone. I also ordered stuffed mushrooms, and for four pieces, it was $10. I think it's not worth the money that I paid or the quality of the food. It's not good. Paying for two rolls and stuffed mushrooms around 45$ it's not...

I recently had an amazing experience at Express Sushi & Teriyaki located at 10113 Folsom Blvd, Rancho Cordova, CA! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the incredibly friendly staff, and I have to give a special shoutout to Gor, the manager, who truly goes above and beyond. The service was impressively quick, which made my visit even more enjoyable.

The atmosphere is upscale and inviting, with several big screen TVs adding to the experience. I was lucky to visit during a Karaoke evening, and wow – all the singers were so talented! It made my night really special, creating such a fun and lively environment.

As for the food, I had the veggie tempura rolls and they were absolutely delicious! Fresh, healthy, and packed with flavor – you could really tell how much care goes into the quality here. I also tried the Fuji Apple Sake, which was so refreshing and paired perfectly with my meal. The best part? The prices are very reasonable, making this spot an even better value.
