Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

I love the aroma of a robust dark Pete's Coffee brewing when I'm nearing the doors to walk inside. There's rarely a line, service is fast and friendly, and I can grab a fresh cup to enjoy while starting my grocery shopping or on my way out the door to go on about my day. There's also a lovely clean seating area to sit if you like. You can grab a deli sandwich from Raley's and sit there also, it's a shared space.

The one and only negative comment which has absolutely nothing to do with Pete's Coffee is that the seating area is located a few steps from the automatic sliding entry doors whereby you enter Raley's and thus find Pete's Coffee counter. On a cold day, don't plan to sit and enjoy your coffee; it's excruciating. Those doors open and close if the wind blows strongly and it's a constant...

I ordered one latte, one green tea fog, and 2 espresso shots in a small cup. I got 2/3 of a latte, 2/3 of a green tea lemonade, NO TRACE of FOG, and the espresso was ok. What can go wrong when you order espresso? I am attaching photos so that you can see for how much coffee I paid for and how much coffee I got. I could tell the barrista was new. The coffee here is so much better than Starbucks. When given a choice, I'd come here every time. The coffee never tastes burnt, always tastes amazing, and the staff always make you feel like they'll give you 100% of their time, no rush.
