I frequent the Starbucks often but had a recent negative experience that has resulted in me going elsewhere for my frappuccinos! A few weeks ago I went to the Starbucks and got my order that I get pretty much daily and the gentleman at the drive-thru window forgot to give me my debit card back. I realized it shortly thereafter and when I went back to get the card the gentleman told me they do not give you your card back through the drive-thru that you have to go into the store to get your card. I am disabled so I had to park my vehicle and walk all the way around to the front entrance only to go into the store and have to ask several times for my debit card. The gentleman that forgot to return my card at the window ignored me the entire time. And then finally a gentleman named Louis who initially refused to give me his name stood with his hands crossed in front of me as if he were not going to be of assistance to me and said "look at his name tag" which was covered up, slid my card over to me face up where it had been sitting on the counter of the of my reach for some time for anyone to see, therefore compromising my identity and my bank account. He never apologized for my inconvenience. I was on my way to a doctor's appointment of which I was late. Louis told me that I should "get on my way then" since I had an appointment. Another patron sighed in disbelief. He was unprofessional and I felt I was being discriminated against and his response when I said this was was "of course" and when I asked for the manager's name he told me they weren't available and to have a nice day. I later learned that the store manager is Michaela Parker. I have left several messages for Ms. Parker and no one has returned my call or addressed the concern. I have been a patron to Starbucks for many years and have never felt disgusted like this! I won't be returning to this location...
Read moreI have had good experiences with the morning crew during the week. I came in there today and there was a young lady round eye glasses, brown hair who was extremely rude. All over Soy milk. It says on my order extra Soy, I asked for a little bit more and she said "You know what, you're supposed to pay for it I'm only giving you 4 ounces"...Mind you I did, which is why it says Ex Soy on the cup.
I then asked what the additional charge was and I would pay it. She said "Just forget it, it's not even a big deal"...She kept on going to for a minute or two...It clearly is and was since she made it a big deal. Her younger counterpart also seemed rather annoyed especially after I put two more dollars on the counter and walked out.
The people I have dealt with at this location have been Fantastic, except this one person. They all are very kind and friendly. Oh, and to add to it, she made the drink wrong, but it wasn't worth complaining about because there would've been more of an argument with her I'm sure.
If it were just this one experience I wouldn't go back, but the team there has been overall really great. I won't give the whole team a bad rating as it is just this one person, this is the second time I've had bad...
Read moreToday at this store I witnessed complete racism and discrimination against guest. I was sitting near the registers at a table which has outlets underneath so that I could charge my laptop. I sat down for maybe 10 minutes when the store manager made her way to the lobby and asked if i had a mobile order. I stated no then she proceeded to tell me that I needed to purchase something in order to sit in the lobby. I am a frequent Starbucks customer with rewards points and I was gonna order something. I went ahead and order a frap and bagel. While sitting working on my work I witnessed the manager enforce the bathroom customer policy with a black guest even went to try and call the cops. The manager did not make a slight exception for him to use the restroom even though he stated he had just received an order in the drive thru. Moments later a Caucasian male comes in and ask for the bathroom code and the worker gives him you have to be customer speech. The guest ask could he be an exception and the worker and manager give him the code without him paying first. I was astonished at the discrimination that blacks have still to this day treated differently because of the color of our skin. Do better Starbucks on...
