This place I raved about for over year up until yesterday 7/21/24 ! I went for a mini celebration, paid $76 for 2 people. The hummus smelled spoiled. Like sour and rotten egg. Mind you I’ve never had a problem & the hummus is what we mainly come for because it compliments all of the remaining dishes. My friend and I brought it to their attention and one particular lady literally didn’t pay me any attention. She kept removing the meat off the skewers and looked at me like OH WELL…..her eyes could have knocked me over, while the cash register was advising it was a new batch, eventually a gentleman with few words came from the back offered us another taste test but made a reaction to the egg smell my friend presented him on her pita bread, and objected to try his own hummus but offered $7 back for the hummus. If ONLY there hospitality was better and not gas light us as if we were delusional I would not have written this review. We were not asking for a refund, we wanted to make them aware of the hummus…..to not lose customers, but instead there response was its suppose to smell like egg…… mind you the steel carrier they have the hummus in was extremely hot. I always would have rated them ABOVE 5 starts up until yesterday. 2 customers...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer and have ordered kibbeh balls from here many times. They’ve always been a good size with great taste. However, my most recent order of 12 pieces for $40 was extremely disappointing. The kibbeh were much smaller than usual, lacked flavor, and were missing pine nuts. This was by far the worst $40 I’ve spent on food. As someone who used to be a regular, this experience really hit hard. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
Replying to your response: If the term “loyal customer” is an issue, I’m happy to remove it. However, having ordered from your restaurant over 20 times and tried nearly every dish, I believe that qualifies as loyalty. Expecting customers to drive back just to address an issue instead of acknowledging the feedback is not great customer service. Especially when my order is placed as a delivery through uber eats.
I stand by my review because it accurately reflects my experience. I hope future customers receive better quality and consistency in...
Read moreIn the U.S. beef is king. Who doesn't like a slice of prime rib, a steak, or a burger. And in second place, in no particular order, you have chicken, pork, and fish. But there is Another protein that is often forgotten and never mentioned and that protein is lamb. It is a red meat kinda like beef but not really. When prepared, seasoned, and cooked right it is a divine piece of meat. It is tender like a filet and flavorful like a ribeye. It is also lean and I think healthier too. I recently had a lamb kabob (and a chicken kabob) at the newly opened Baba K and it exceeded all my expectations. The lamb was hot, tender, flavorful, and delicious. If you never had lamb before , or are scared, try it here first. Baba K is located in the new Haven City market in Rancho cucamonga. This Is not a fast food place but the service is fast. They also served other types of meditteraean dishes as well. The prices are good and the staff is great. Check...
