*Went to this spot before the current circumstances were put in place* So we made a stop to Haven Market trying to see what kind of spots they had, I found Belly & Snout and I was sold lol. The only problem is my sister has a food allergy to pork so we were going to skip it. Until she saw a Shrimp place so she went there. (I'm allergic to Shrimp by the way lol.) I got Pork Belly Fries and an order of Lumpia, I love me some lumpia. The Pork was good, I like me some tasty pork the only thing I had an issue with was the sauce. To me it tasted to much like mayo and I'm not much of a mayo fan, so next time I would probably get that on the side. Also the pickled red onions we a little dry, that flavor of the onion would have gone so well with the pork. Lumpia was good with or without the sauce they gave you. My sister was able to pick off some of the fries with the sauce as long as no pork pieces were on there lol. She didn't care for the Shrimp tacos she got. I would come back here again to check out their bowls. Just again sauce on the side lol.

Last night, I tried the belly plate. The meal took about 12 minutes to cook. The presentation was pretty nice, but it didn’t function very well for eating outside during the jazz live show. The pork belly, unfortunately was not hot. It also wasn’t very flavorful. It seemed like they just didn’t season the food enough and the low temperature didn’t help. I also noticed that there was some sort of mayonnaise dressing with the pork belly which I didn’t like it. The Rice! First off it was just plain rice, no seasoning, no flavor. C’mon do something with the rice. Next was the salad which should not even been put on the plate. That’s the bitter salad that even at the grocery store you avoid so it wasn’t any value on that plate. I just avoided it. The lumpia was very thin. The outside was good and crispy but again inside was not very well seasoned. It just tasted bland. I ended up, not finishing the lumpia’s and did not finish the pork belly. I’m going to give this place another try and order the oxtail chili dog.

Yo! This is the spot! I see it was on Diners, Drive inns and Dives so I knew it would be good, but man did it exceed expectations! The pork belly is fire, whether spicy or regular. And the adobo is amazing! I haven’t had adobo this good in a long time. The lumpia was rolled different than I’ve ever seen, but that is a good thing. A little lighter and not as fried feeling as normal. I love that you can get the incredible proteins in tacos, bowls, over fries or in a box meal with extras. Oh yeah, and grilled cheese sandwiches too! I had the chicken adobo taco and the pork belly grilled cheese and they were super good. With the lumpia on the side I couldn’t finish the sandwich, so had to take it to go. Eating it later won’t be a problem, heck it might not even make it all the way home it’s that good! I highly recommend Belly and Snout if you are anywhere close, or order on Grubhub for delivery, you won’t be disappointed!

Parking can be bit of a problem. They do have a lot in the back but it's pretty small. Meter parking is plenty on Western but that's a busy street as well so be aware. Came here with 2 other friends, we were hungry so we kinda went crazy with ordering all their "recommended" items.

Got pork adobo grilled cheese, oxtail tater tots, french fries sisig, longanisa grilled cheese, belly & snout hot dog. Jeez, thanks heart attack? The cashier was super friendly and awesome. We chopped it up about NBA playoffs a lil bit. He brought all our food items and drinks to our table (table area in the back & they have couple small seating right by the cashier as well) Pork adobo grilled cheese and longanisa grilled cheese were grilled cheese on steroid. They were packed with ooey and gooey cheese, with pork and longanisa, respectively. They were both decent size, we all took bites and thought they were both solid.

The tater tots and french fries were super heavy. I think we would've enjoyed them more if we weren't feeling heavy already from the grilled cheeses. French fries sisig came w fried eggs on top so that's like automatic awesome from me. Belly & snout hot dog was probably our favorite item. The hotdog tasted juicy and cooked to order.

The toppings on top of the hotdog complimented the hotdog well. Definite must try item. I really wish Yelp had .5 stars. I think this place is 3.5-4 stars for sure. It can even be a 5. But just be aware that it is super heavy...

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out yesterday. Out of the majority of the restaurants, this place stood out because we’ve never had Filipino food and the menu sounded amazing. They also have a signed picture by Guy Fieri, so we assumed that the place had to be good! We got the pork belly fries and the chicken adobo rice bowl. I give the fries a 7/10. They were delicious, but not as good as I hoped they’d be. Now the chicken adobo…I give it a 0-1/10. I was so excited to try this because I’ve never had adobo and the picture looked delicious. When we got the food, the ā€œgravyā€ was non-existent and I could barely see it on the rice. The flavor tasted like days old chicken, I couldn’t even eat it. I couldn’t even eat the rice. My boyfriend is less picky, so he ate some of it so we didn’t waste our money. He told me it tasted like plain chicken and rice. Like chicken you buy from some supermarkets. Regardless, he took the leftovers home. Later that night, he came down with a fever and stomach pain and vomiting that has continued into this morning. The only thing we can circle it back to is this place. So dissatisfied and disappointed. We will be throwing the left overs away and we will unfortunately not...
