KD's Donuts — Restaurant in Rancho Santa Margarita

Omg the Best donuts ever! I even went to Sidecar donuts expecting the maple bacon to be so much more amazing, nope! My Maple bar that I have prettying much twice a month is so much better and in my opinion the best I’ve ever! And I’ve had a lot of maple bars! The dough is like a brioche dough and they lightly dip it in maple glaze which is the perfect amount, so it not so sweet! Don’t change anything! Although I wish they would come out with a Peach fritter and or apple fritter holes! Because the Apple fritter is also the best I’ve ever had, it’s just huge! Next time I have my Maple bar I’ll add a pic, I gobbled that this down to fast and forgot like...

I recently ordered mini pastries (muffins, scones, croissants, donut holes) for a baby shower breakfast. I thought they had made a mistake because the pastries were almost regular size. ALL of the pastries were delicious, flavorful, light & fluffy and everyone loved them. Anita was a pleasure, and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff, and she even helped me out to the car. This was my first visit, and it is obviously a well known hidden gem as there were people in line out the door. I would definitely recommend and will go back in the future.... Only bad review about this business is by someone who couldn't use a Visa at a donut shop. Sounds like a personal problem but as far as the service and their donuts they are the best. I drive 15 minutes away from my work to come here for their apple fritters and their fancy donut lineup. Hands down they are the best in South O.C. They are a great family business with great service and donuts!! And much better selection and prices compare to other shops. Keep up the good...
